I love the Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Scrub pad with sponge. They are tough and last a long time. I use one for dishes and kettles, and one for side boards and cupboard faces. We keep one in the bath for the sink and one for the shower in each bathroom. They also are nice to have in the car for cleaning up spills. We always take a few along when friends are moving in or out of an apt. or home and a bunch of us get together to help clean up the place for the couple. It sure makes clean-up a breeze! Removes stubborn stains quickly with the scrubbing end. And the sponge cleans up easy too. I want to try the 'Greener Clean' when it gets up our way! I know this sponge has been around for many years as I can remember when my mother brought the first one home. That was a long time ago when I was a teen and I am in my mid-fifties now! A good quality product simply doesn't disappear, it goes with you through the years. My kitchen sink has never been without one of these! thank you Scotch-Brite!

I use either purchase this brand or another well known. Purchased the blue 6 pack recently. The top "scratch resistant blue scrub layer" started peeling off after scrubbing one fork. By the time I was done with a small dish load, the whole layer was completely off with exposed glue. Same thing happened to the second sponge in the same pack. Very disappointing. I already emailed the company. That shouldn't happen.

Recently for some unknown reason, I set a plastic canister of sugar upon a still warm electric burner. Seconds later a mess of burnt sugar was all over my stove. After soaking in a some vinegar a bit, my Scotch-Brite spomnge wiped it all in a matter of minutes. Paper towels were not going to do this job!

After buying the cheaper options for sponges, I saw that I would have to buy them every week. So I upgraded to the Scotch-Brite and realized that they lasted longer. So now I pay the extra money for longer lasting sponges that will save me more money in the long run. Def. recommended!

The heavy duty scrub sponge by Scotch Brite is an excellent choice for dried stuckon foods. It is gentle to the hands yet cleans well from pans, skillets and that ugly spill in the bottom of the oven. A fruit pie bubbled over and the sticky juicy had stuck and burned on the oven bottom and the grates, but my Scotch Brite heavy duty sponge made cleanup a breeze.

I recently purchased a house that was formerly rented out to 4 frat college guys and wow!! did i have some cleaning to do...this sponge got everything that was dried on the back of the sink counters, under the counters, everything that was a mess stuck on cabinets and counters dried and hardened for gosh knows how long. My kitchen is now pristine...thank you

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this sponge ALL the time. I do have a dishwasher but lets be honest it doesn't do well on pots and pans. This sponge is just the ticket when I need to pre-clean my pots and pans before running then through the dishwasher. Its the perfect size, even my 8 year old uses it to clean the dishes every so often. Having a scrub side for those hard to remove caked on foods and then a soft side so I don't scratch my plates is perfect!

I’m not sure about all the negative reviews, but I’ve used these sponges for years and years and never had any issues with quality. I like these for clean up because one side is for scrubbing, and the other is for general cleaning. I like that one sponge can be used for multiple uses also. I will continue to buy these until I experience my own quality issues.

Scotch-Brite heavy duty sponges have been a staple at our house for over 20 years. They have been the best until recently. The quality seems to be inferior now. The green pad falls apart after a couple of weeks. The change seems to have happened since they went from a rectangular sponge to a ‘wave’ shape. Please bring the high standards back!!!
