I love these sponges and have used them forever. I love the way they work and others can not compare. You can use them for your hard jobs or for your easy ones just the same because you have a soft sponge on one side and the heavy duty scrubber on the other. I will never use anything else.

One still has to be cautious that it isn't too abrasive for the item it is being used on. Great for scrubbing oven racks or other items with caked on grease, dirt and other tough challenges. It holds up well and can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher, too.

These sponges are fantastic. With the use of any powder or liquid cleaning agent these sponges go deep into baked on stains and wipe them away. They are strong but not damaging to my fine cookware. I've used them for a long time and they've never failed me. The old ones are used for 'germy' areas, floors and such and the cookware get the new ones.

I like this because I have tried other scrubbing sponges that don't work, and this one does! I want something that is strong enough to really get my stainless steel pots and pans clean and this does the job. I microwave it every day to keep it clean and it lasts a good long time.

we have tried all the spongers on the market and always came back to the heavy duty sponge. It is the ONLY one we use, from washing dishes to cleaning up messes on the floor to cleaning the bathrooms. Love the heavy duty spongy material with the green scrubber on the back for stubborn areas.

I had success with the heavy duty scrubby sponge...I was working on pots and pans that had been hidden away in the back of a cabinet so that "someone" wouldn't have to hear me nagging about getting the dishes done....needless to say when I found them down there I was grossed out and worried about what kind of scrubber would even work. The scrub side of the product is dense and worked hard without scratching the service of the filthy pots...it also didn't breakdown on me...I got all the work done and still didn't have to toss the scrubber sponge. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M sent me a free Scotch Brite scrub sponge to check out. It is very useful for cleaning things at a kitchen sink I'm sure, but it is also quite handy at the laundry tub we keep outside the house by the side faucet. The tub gets used a lot for all sorts of outdoor projects, from cleaning BBQ grills to putting together or cleaning flower pots, and innumerable other wash jobs too messy for doing at indoor sinks. The Scotch Brite pad, along with an assortment of brushes, works great for scrubbing tasks at the tub, and also for spring scrubbing of our aluminum patio furniture, summer maintenance of the patio table top, and even for removing stubborn bug spatter off windshields. The pad is kept with bar soap and SOS pad in a sealable old baby wipe container on the outside tub, and stays protected in there year-round, and always at the ready.

I use them for washing a dish quick in the sink (instead of the dishwasher) and/or for wiping down the counter in the kitchen, such as my coffee prep area which seems to be the spot that needs the most cleaning...perhaps as I tend to drink coffee more often than actually cooking! I tend to find that they last a decent amount of time and will steralize them by zapping them in the microwave with some water. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These used to be terrific sponges, but then they took out the Anti-bacterial, now they last less than a week before going mildewy. It's good news for 3M as they sell more sponges because you have to throw them out more often, but bad news for the consumer because the sponges don't last as long. Or was the anti-bacterial agent considered a health risk because it was transmitted to the eating utensils?

The heavy duty sponge scrubber lives up to it's name , by tackling those tough baked on crusty rings on you favorite baking ware. I have been using Scotch-Brite for years and it has never failed me I have tried other scrub sponges and always come back to the one I know and trust, Scotch-Brite. I have found that when you think the sponge is used up, quite contrair!! You can use it on your bathroom sinks and kitchen sinks for a easier cleaning job with results that satisfy.
