I have benn using scotch brand all my life, specially the sponges but I have notice a couple of years ago that they become bad smelling after the second or third use. I use them to wash my dishes. I used the microwave trick, cleaning them in clorine, squezzing them very hard to keep them as dry as possible, no luck. I remember they use to last a lot without that bad germ or humid odor. Please do something. What happenned?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used these sponges for a few weeks now and they work amazing. I have used them on so many pots and pans and they clean everything. The green abrasive side cleans cakes on food with ease but it doesn't scratch. It works great to clean my frying pans and skillets.

I have used these sponges to wash dishes for years, my last purchase of the heavy duty scrub sponge has a problem. I can use the sponge for about a week and then it becomes slimy to the touch. I throw it away and start over with a new one. I let them dry out after each use. Something changed.

I use my sponge all around my whole house. I keep one in the bathroom and kitchen and find them to be very easy to use and to have great absorbency. I like how they have a scrub texture on one side and the sponge on the other to soak up what ever cleaning substance you are cleaning up. I always buy extra's so I will have them when I wear out them out.

I have used Scotch-Brite sponges for years. My favorite is the "Heavy Duty" scrub sponge. Basically, it does my work for me. Nothing is too hard to remove with the Heavy Duty sponge... imagine pots, pans, casserole dishes, and especially baked on food. All it takes is a bit of soap and slight pressure... your item is clean. Who needs a genie in a bottle - when you can get a Heavy Duty scrub sponge to do the work for you?

I was introduced to these great scrubbing pads by a 3M rep. He gave me a box at holiday time with a few 3M house care products. The rescue pads became my all-time favorite. All my grown children use and love them. My sister also uses them. We like the fact that they are filled with soap and each pad (2/pkg) is divided into thirds, giving you a total of 6 pads. This way you only use a 1/3 at a time. Also no rust.

I had success with the heavy duty scrubby sponge...I was working on pots and pans that had been hidden away in the back of a cabinet so that "someone" wouldn't have to hear me nagging about getting the dishes done....needless to say when I found them down there I was grossed out and worried about what kind of scrubber would even work. The scrub side of the product is dense and worked hard without scratching the service of the filthy pots...it also didn't breakdown on me...I got all the work done and still didn't have to toss the scrubber sponge. I like this because I have tried other scrubbing sponges that don't work, and this one does! I want something that is strong enough to really get my stainless steel pots and pans clean and this does the job. I microwave it every day to keep it clean and it lasts a good long time.

For years I have been buying this product. Now the scrubbing is made of 100% recycled materials. It doesn't work like the previous one. It begins to disintegrate rather quickly. I want to buy the previous version and I don't know where to find it.
