[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge to review, so here are my thoughts. Though I have used this product in the past, I never reviewed it. I also RARELY ever used the green scrubbing side of the sponge. I have only ever used the sponge itself and I use it with Bar Keepers Friend to either clean/polish my stainless steel double sink, or to clean my stainless steel pots. I have also used the sponge, again with Bar Keepers Friend on an old porcelain sink.

I use these scrubbers in the bath tub. My husband has a job that leaves black oily residue and stains on my bathtub. This is the only product that can hold up to scrubbing required to take it off. Use the sponge side for the shower walls. I have tried others and they just fall apart before the job is done. I also use these for tough stains on my pots and pans. Use only the spounge side on teflon to avoid scratching. I give these a five star and would recommend them to everyone.

I have used Scotch Brite heavy duty scrub sponges for a long time and would never switch. They make messy, time consuming jobs so much easier. I do not have a dishwasher so I need to buy the best product to make my chores easier. I would never use generic sponges as they just fall apart and make my job harder. If you want to get out of the kitchen faster, use Scotch Brite heavy duty sponges.

I have been using these sponges for a very long time. I have tried other brands but they just are not as good as the Scotch-Brite heavy duty sponge. They seem to be more solid and holds the right amount of water rather than getting soaked and not cleaning. The scrubbing side cleans the hardest to get off food. Excellent Product

I personally have used Scotch-Brite products ever since they first came out. I suppose I just liked the name because I AM of Scotch descent. But I HAVE continued using them ever since, and the reason is BECAUSE they do the job, and they do it WELL. You can use Scotch-Brite pads on almost everything. Of course if it's made of something much softer than the palm of my hand, I always test the surface first (on the underside). We use them regularly on dishes, pots and pans, floors, windows, and almost everything else around the house that you can't "Just get clean with only a cloth". We used to used those wire impregnated scrub pads before, but DO THEY LAST? The answer is NO! DO THEY SCRATCH? The answer is YES! Do they RUST? The answer is YES? Do they stick you sometimes with little metal splinters? The answer is YES! AND, how long DO they LAST? The answer is NOT LONG ENOUGH! Do you think I like Scotch-Brite Pads? The answer is YES!! NOW, can you tell that I DO LIKE SCOTCH-BRITE products? YOU BETCHA!

Every time I use my Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Scrub sponge, I think of all the times I used to use steel wool and would get those little pieces of it in my fingers..yowser! Now I get my pots and pans completely clean and shinny without the pain of using steel wool.I also love not having rusty steel wool pads to worry about..these sponges are truly the best thing to use for scrubbing your pots and pans, cleaning your sink, and so many other uses. I think I would give up just about any other cleaning item in my kitchen with the exception of these sponges!

I have tried this sponge and it is one of the best I have used in a long time that doesnt crumble when your trying to use it. I realy like how easy it is to clean my dishes exspeacialy when I have to scrub. This is a realy good product. I like it among most I have tried. Thank you for a great product and keep them coming..

I just love these sponges makes my job of doing the dishes less work. When I'm doing cleaning I toss them into the microwave for 2 minutes to kill any germs and I get several uses out of one sponge!

These have been my workhorse everyday sponge for years. I like how they work and I like the clean, no nonsense rectangular design compared to others with fancy shapes. The new wavy design is distracting and pointless. They're still fine sponges but I have no reason to prefer them now.

I have been using Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Sponges for years and I use them for everything. From washing dishes to scrubbing the oven, they meet my every need. The sponge holds together so nicely, every when used under very harsh circumstances, and the scrubber pad can take a beating too.
