I had some caked on mess on my favorite pan. I had tried everything in the past and nothing had worked so I was at the store looking for something to help me get the mess off of this pan and help me in the future. I decdied to try a Scotch-Brite product and chose the heavy duty. I could not believe how well it worked. I also used it to get stuff off of my stove and it worked there too. It did not scratch anything either, which was my biggest fear. I would recommend this to anyone it worked beyond great.

The Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrubbing Sponge was the first sponge of this type I ever bought and I immediately knew that cleaning would never be the chore it once was. The green scrubbing surface takes the need for hard pressure out of removing the worst messes. I use it for cleaning everything from baked on grunge on my pots and pans to soap scum in the shower and am never disappointed with the results. Keep one in the kitchen and one in the bathroom. It will quickly turn into your #1 go-to cleaning tool.

I use daily both the Med. duty scrubbing sponge and the eraser pads. I can't tell you how many of these I can't tell you how many of these I go through in a year here but it's many many. I give the highest review for both of these items. I can't possibly keep this school clean for students without them. I give both products a rating of (5)

My terra cotta pots were in bad shape from enduring summers in a beach community. So with baking soda and water, I used my scrub sponge, and used it hard!!! These sponges are my absolute favorite brand. I'm a heavy cleaner, as I use sponges for not only cleaning dishes but also for kitchen cleaning (floor, counter, stove). I only buy sponges that have the spongy side AND the hard, bristly side (for tough stuck on food). The Scotch Brite brand sponges typically last longer and can endure more wear than other sponges I have used. Regular sponges without the hard bristly side usually fall apart within a couple of weeks, so those I can't even use. O-Cel-O sponges, another 3M brand, are weak by comparison -- the bristly side falls off after a limited amount of uses, rendering the sponge useless. Niagara sponges, yet another 3M brand, are about the same quality as Scotch Brite, so I like those too. My only complaint is that I wish Scotch Brite sponges were cheaper but it's nice that I can buy a two-pack of sponges and have them last for several months.

I use these sponges becasue they last longer and work the best. This scrubber is the best, because it does not scar or scratch the surface of anything I am cleaning. I have been able to get tough stains off my stove top without using harsh chemicals on it.

What's the difference between the 420 sponge (discontinued) and the 425 sponge (replacement)? The 420 was great. It stayed together and the green scratchy pad actually scratched. Cleaned the stainless steel sink wonderfully. The 425 - no so good. No good stuff in that section. What's a replacement for the 420 scratchy section that I could buy separately?

I like to cut my Heavy Duty Scotch Brite Scrub Sponge into thirds. We use a third for cleaning our veggies, one third for rinsing dishes for the dishwasher and one third for kitchen cleaning. Once or twice a week we replace the sponges. Excellent Product!!

I have used scotch brite heavy duty scrubbing pads on my grill for maaany years,each time I have used them I am still amazed at how they last at getting the burnt crud off.No need to use harsh chemicals , just the scotchbrite heavy duty scrubbing pad,hot water and soap.It is like having A new grill everytime!
