I have used these sponges for years and the last few times I purchased them they have not been as strong. They seem to fall apart sooner. The scrubber is fine but the sponge part comes apart and breaks off in pieces. It is frustrating. I wonder if something has changed in the making of this. I used to find these the best but not so much anymore.

I use the soft side for my fry pan. It's not bulky, so also great for glassware. I bought two more and keep one in each bathroom to clean the sink, the tub and more. I am definitely going to keep this sponge on my shopping list. It's easy to clean it up and reuse, as well.

Scotch Brite has changed something and don’t know why we’ve not commented before. We thought it was a bad batch but they sponges have been consistently just bad. They have lost not only the odor reduction that was in the originals, but the sponge section does not hold up as well at all. We’ve purchased the same rectangular pack for decades and am totally disappointed with the thinner sponge and poor quality. They are not holding up at all. Are you planning on going back to your original design soon? I’m the meantime we are out looking for other brands to try. Sorry… but we need a good working sponge in the kitchen, bathrooms, utility room for our household. Sincerely, longtime consumer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sponge to review for 3M. I was happy because I use these sponges all the time and needed a new one. These sponges are great for many things. One is always by my sink for wiping dishes, cleaning the counter, and many other things. It works great on everything. Every couple of days, I throw it in the dishwasher with the dishes to clean it. It lasts for a really long time. Great value for a great product!

We have used this product for years and loved them….but something has changed this past few months and they are utterly disgraceful now. After one use the top yellow sponge breaks away and j we barely get 2 or 3 days use (washing up twice a day). We’ve kept buying in the hope they get better, but now it’s just a waste of money. Very cheap and nasty now.

I have a small homestead complete with turkeys, ducks, chickens, and rabbits... which means a lot of 'mess'. I love these Heavy Duty sponges for cleaning all the watering jugs/bottles, feed dishes, and cages. I also like using them for my dog bowls and plastic kiddy pool. These sponges perform over and over and make the job easy!

I have used these scruber sponges for years and recently I noticed that they are coming apart. The sponge is separating away from the scruber. When it happened the first time, I thought nothing of it, but it keeps happening over and over. Maybe the company has changed their bonding material, but I want back my old scrubbers that never came apart. I have one right now I'll gladly send you so you can see it for yourself.

I like this because I have tried other scrubbing sponges that don't work, and this one does! I want something that is strong enough to really get my stainless steel pots and pans clean and this does the job. I microwave it every day to keep it clean and it lasts a good long time.

I use my heavy duty scrubs in the kitchen. They do not scratch my sink. But, I also use them in the bathroom. I keep them in the bathroom and kitchen. For a 'ring around the tub', I use cleanser and the scrubber. My tub is sparkling clean.I have used these scrubs all my married life, which will be 50 years later this month.
