We keep this in our sink all the time for scrubbing those pots and pans with thick layers of cooked-on mess. I used to have to put those pots and pans in a "time out" soak before approaching them with a dish brush, but I rarely have to do a pre-soak since I have a heavy duty scrub sponge.

I have used several different sponges before, but Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge is my FAVORITE!! It removes all the stuck on grease and grime that is left on my stove top and my pots and pans. It has never left any scratch marks on any surfaces that I have used it on. I will have to say that my kitchen would not be complete without this sponge!!

I really dont like to clean because most products in stores are expensive and can't be used more than once or a few times. I can use the heavy duty scrub sponge over and over again. It's not ruff on my hands, and doesn't tear apart like other sponges usually do. This sponge is also easy to clean off after each use. Makes cleaning much easier.

When I say forever, I remember doing dishes, standing on a chair so I could reach the sink when I was little. We had this green scrubber then, and I still use it now. Since I've moved to Chicago I no longer have the luxury or a dishwasher, so I have to wash everything by hand yet again. I no longer need to stand on a chair though. I not only use this scrubber for my tough to get clean dishes, it works wonders on counter and the mess I make on the stove and inside the oven. When I do deep cleaning once a month, I also use it to scrub up whatever mess has formed under my drawers in the refrigerator. It doesn't stop there either. It gets the gross stuck on food off the microwave plate too. I have another one I keep with bathroom supplies and use it to scrub down my tile walls in the bathtub too. It's so versatile. If you need elbow grease for any job, save some energy and use this gem. It's rare to find a product you use throughout your entire life, and it still is the best option. I love this green scrubbing machine!

I'm handicapped and people shop for me. I had asked for the regular Scotch-Brite scrub sponge but the shopper bought the heavy duty. I was worried that my cookware or dishes would be scratched by this product. Was I ever surprised! The scrubbers cleangreat without scratches on anything. Now I request the heavy duty scrubbers all the time. This scrubber is not hard on my nails either. Great, great product! Makes quick work of kitchen mistakes.

This product seems to have changed over the last years. The sponge itself is much thinner, and now the green scrubbing section releases green powder all over after taking it from the package. It disintegrates and in some cases cannot be used for intentional purpose. Disappointing.

It is the best scrubber non scratcher that I have ever experienced. It is reliable, lasts a goodly while before tossing and is effective for the purposes for which I use it on MOSt, not all ocassions.I like the fact that i can scrub and sponge till i feel the item being cleaned looks reasonably clean again.

I have been buying Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponges for years. I always bought the 6 pack because it was more economical. They were always so much better and lasted so much longer than the cheap kind. UNTIL NOW . . . . . I recently bought a new package and was amazed at 1) how cheaply they are now made, nothing like the old ones and 2) how expensive for an inferior product. I won't be purchasing them again. I emailed them about the sponges, and shared my total disgust with them. You may as well save your money and buy the cheaply made ones. These feel weird, not soft like the old ones and the scrubber strip is stiff and unyielding. NOT worth the money anymore. It's too bad, they were the best at one time.
