I have used Scotch Brite Heavy Duty scrub pads as long as I can remember. My Mother before me, used them so I grew up knowing that if I had a job that needed a good scrubbing, I could count on the Scotch Brite pad. Whether it's scrubbing dried food off a dish in the kitchen, the stovetop after a boil-over or BBQ sauce off the lawn chairs, I can always count on the pad. When it's down to almost nothing left, I can use it to scrub the floor of black marks! It washes beautifully so it can be used again and again. I would be lost without my Scotch Brite Scrub Pad in the kitchen, bathroom, utility room and patio! For an inexpensive cleaning solution, without harmful, smelling cleansers, it's the best!

I cannot imagine trying to keep my kitchen clean without scotch-brite pads. They are the most useful thing in my cleaning supplies. They also go with me to the bathroom to help scour the bathtub since I have an older enameled steel tub. I use them to take lint off my clothes whenever I have an article that "pills" or if I inadvertantly leave a tissue in a pocket. I love these!

The heavy duty scrubbing sponge will do any job you put it too. My mother let her copper bottom tea kettle run out of water on the stove while she was on the phone. It was a terrible mess inside and out. But the scrubbing pad took the burned looking stuff both on the inside and the outside off and it looks like new, even the copper/

the product that i used was scotch bright sponges heavy duty they are amazing they work like a charm they get in the spots that are very hard to clean, the scrubbing side gets all the grease, and gunk off the pans, stove, countertop, also they are ok to use on baby toys so i scrub down my daughters toys after she plays with them i dont no what i would do without my scotch bright sponges thanks to everyone who made the scotch bright sponges...

My family and I were all committed to this product, purchasing it for ourselves as well as for our business. It was always worth spending the extra money to have a product that was durable and lasted so much longer than other brands. However there has been a huge change, perhaps it’s composed of different materials to cut production costs. It’s as if they start decomposing within days of initial use. The yellow sponge breaks down and actually separates in pieces going down the drain. I sincerely request that you please revert back to the old sponges or I’m afraid you will lose many of your loyal customers.

The sponges are great we use them in the house on tough food that has burned to my pan. We use them outside to clean my daughters toys. My husband also uses them to clean and wash the black marks that sometimes gets on our motor home. They can be used over and over again. Just stick them in the dishwasher after each use and sterilize them. Great product. The only thing I would change is to make them thick it would give them better gripping power.

I've just begun to use this product (heavy duty scrub pad). This sponge is awesome. I don't know what I was thinking before. I had been using a regular sponge, but this new to me product is worth every penny I paid for it. Whether I'll buy it again and in the future, is yes. For as long as you make this product I will continue to buy it. Unless of course you make something even better. Then I will try that and if it's as good or better, I will change to that product and continue to buy that product until that product is no longer available or until you make something else.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge to review, so here are my thoughts. Though I have used this product in the past, I never reviewed it. I also RARELY ever used the green scrubbing side of the sponge. I have only ever used the sponge itself and I use it with Bar Keepers Friend to either clean/polish my stainless steel double sink, or to clean my stainless steel pots. I have also used the sponge, again with Bar Keepers Friend on an old porcelain sink.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The heavy duty sponges really work well. They clean the dishes and pots, including the gunk that sometimes gets stuck, like egg residue from breakfast. But without scratches. Plus once rinsed, the food residue doesn't stick to the sponge. I usually change sponges on teh first of the month and they (usually) last the entire month. I then use them for cleaning other things until they wear out. I can toss them in the washing machine and dryer and they still hold up. The only drawback is that the knives sometimes will cut a corner or two from the sponge. Once that happens, the sponge doesn't hold up. But otherwise, it is the only sponge I buy.

I recently purchased a house that was formerly rented out to 4 frat college guys and wow!! did i have some cleaning to do...this sponge got everything that was dried on the back of the sink counters, under the counters, everything that was a mess stuck on cabinets and counters dried and hardened for gosh knows how long. My kitchen is now pristine...thank you
