I use the Heavy Duty sponges in my kitchen, with teenage boys not every plate gets rinsed & pans magically burn food. Thanks to Scotch-Brite my pots & pans are like new. The scrubber doesn't easily detach, yay!! Mine have always held up thru rigous elbow grease. After a while at dish duty I throw my sponges in the washer, I hate a smelly sponge,& they get a second life as clean up sponges (scrbber pad still attached) which is great for my toddlers lil mis-haps.

I personally have used Scotch-Brite products ever since they first came out. I suppose I just liked the name because I AM of Scotch descent. But I HAVE continued using them ever since, and the reason is BECAUSE they do the job, and they do it WELL. You can use Scotch-Brite pads on almost everything. Of course if it's made of something much softer than the palm of my hand, I always test the surface first (on the underside). We use them regularly on dishes, pots and pans, floors, windows, and almost everything else around the house that you can't "Just get clean with only a cloth". We used to used those wire impregnated scrub pads before, but DO THEY LAST? The answer is NO! DO THEY SCRATCH? The answer is YES! Do they RUST? The answer is YES? Do they stick you sometimes with little metal splinters? The answer is YES! AND, how long DO they LAST? The answer is NOT LONG ENOUGH! Do you think I like Scotch-Brite Pads? The answer is YES!! NOW, can you tell that I DO LIKE SCOTCH-BRITE products? YOU BETCHA!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started using the scrubber part and found that it works the same as other scrubbers I've purchased that don't have sponges attached. We don't use our dishwasher, so the sanitizing part won't be happening; we'll have to toss it when through.

I work in a professional kitchen and we only use these "green scrubbies" so when I clean up after a family dinner at home I always turn to Scotch Brite so I know that I won't be scrubbing dishes all night, I get to spend that time with my beautiful family:)

As a wife, mother of 5, grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 1 I do a lot of cooking and cleaning. I love my scotch brite heavy duty sponges because it makes it faster and easier for me to clean up all those large messes and gives me more time to spend with my family. I love this products function and use on hard to scrub surfaces. Unfortunately this sponge begins to smell like an old sponge(mildew) after only minimal uses. I love this product and have tried buying it from different stores and in a variety of packs (single to multipacks) and I have gotten the same results. T

I really like these sponges. We eat a lot of melted cheese - and if you have ever melted cheese in the microwave you know how difficult it is to get it off the plate. These sponges are the only product I have found that works as well without scratching.

I've been using scotch-brite scrubbers for longer than I can remember and the generic version is definitely no substitute. They seem to last a lot longer when you run them through the dishwasher or wet thoroughly (never dry) and put in the micro-wave for 4 min. I highly recommend them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given one of these to review and I love them. They hold up well. I love the scrub side, it gets the most stuck on gunk off. It helps take the work out of doing the dishes and I can wipe down my counter tops and stove top all without switching tools.

For years I have been buying this product. Now the scrubbing is made of 100% recycled materials. It doesn't work like the previous one. It begins to disintegrate rather quickly. I want to buy the previous version and I don't know where to find it.
