[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this sponge numerous times and it has done the job. It has not fallen apart. I do not have many things it can be used on as it will scratch them all. I was able to get some cooked on residue out of my crockpot. Nothing else I tried worked. The thing that I did not like about the sponge is that as I was washing yellow dye was coming out of the sponge. I rinsed the sponge a couple of times before using it and the dye still came out. Beware of this if it is something that would bother you. Overall it is a good sponge. I received this sponge at no charge so that I could review the product. I rely on reviews when making purchases so you can be assured that this review is based on my use of the product. I am in no way associated with 3M.

I would like to do the review about Hevy Duty Kitchen scrub sponges. In my opinion and experience with this product I love to use, and i use every day in my kitchen, it is excellent for me and my family, I have bought for my mom and my sister. Scotch brite is a brand that I trust. Thanks. I will always use scotch brite for my kitchen.

This sponge is the only one I will purchase. Period. It is simply the best I have found to scrub off those dried on messes, but yet it is still gentle enough not to scratch my cookware. I love Scotch Brite and will always be a loyal customer because of their quality products. Well done!

I use this product...Oh do I ever use this product! In a nutshell,I love to cook. However, I don't always cook things that are easy cleanup. Some of my favorite things to cook are slow roasted or made in a pan on the stove producing hours of crusty build up to be cleaned later. I have made the mistake of buying brands other than Scotch-Brite Sponge and Scrubbing Sponges. I find that the Green Scrubby Layer comes loose almost imediately, resulting in it comming completely off by the second scrubbing. I don't have to worry about this at all with my hard working heavy duty helpers from Scotch-Brite! They hold up despite the torture that I put them thru! I love them!

Have used this for 30 years no complaints until recently. This sponge used to last for such a long time now I use it a few times and it starts to break. Please go back to the old design and construction whatever you did to change it is defective!!!!!

This is a must have in my kitchen. I don't do anything else - I won't do without it. I ran out a while ago and my family thought I was nuts I had to stop what I was doing and go to the store to get a new one. I have stainless steel cookware and this is the only thing I use on it. Soak for a few minutes and than go at it with my sponge - can't live with out my heavy duty sponge. I now keep a few under my sink so I never run out again Thanks Theresa

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from 3M to evaluate. After trying out this sponge, I loved it. Not only was this sponge great for tough, baked-on messes in the kitchen, but it also worked well for outdoor and garage messes as well. What I loved about this sponge was that I could sanitize it in my dishwasher and reuse it again and again.

First, let me say that I abhor steel wool pads, but thought those were the only things that would get burned-on food off my pots and pans. Then came the advent of non-stick cookware (which actually isn't). I was faced with two choices -- scratch the non-stick surface or just leave the stuck food on the pot. When I found the heavy-duty Scotch Brite pads, I discovered it really was possible to have the scrubbing ability of steel wool, without the stinky, yucky mess that destroyed my pots and pans. I've been using them ever since!

I have been using Scoth-Brite heavy duty sponges for many, many years. I tried other cheaper ones, they fall apart, tear or leave sponge parts on my dishes. I can trust Scotch-Brite sponges for all my cleaning. I keep one in each bathroom, use on stubborn shower doors mold, sink stains, hard water marks...it just seems so much easier when I use a scotch-Brite heavy duty sponge to clean with. In the kitchen, I use on non-stick pots, not a problem, it does not scratch them...my glass top stove, removes the stains, boil-overs, easy as pie.Stainless Steel sinks, works great...no spill is a match for Scotch-Brite heavy duty sponges. Even in my stove, I can use a very moist Scotch-Brite spopnge and get those hard to remove baked on and stuck on foods off, in minimal time. I have used them on outdoor furniture, plastic chairs and tables, charcoal grills, on the car to get off love bugs...I can't think of too many ways I do not use Scotch-Brite heavy duty sponges. I have even used one on my foot when I could not get the stuck on tape off from a bandage...LOL. So, they WORK, you just have to use alittle elbow grease on somethings, LOL.

I have used this product for years. I can tell they have changed their material, it does not last as long, this scrubing green tip is not the same material. It shreds up like the ones you buy at the dollar store. I will not buy these again until they go back to the quaility material they used to use.
