I love the sponges to do those heavy type clean ups. Try and keep a extra one on hand at all times. There great cleaning a bad spont on the stove around the eyes/oven/out doors on the grill/water bucket for out door animals. So there great for those heavy soiled jobs.

These are the only kind I buy to clean my entire house. I use them were ever is needed. Will not buy any other brand. It not only has a great price, but it works. Does not fall apart and last a long time. I even rewash them in the dishwasher and use them again. They last a long time even when doing this. i have two young boys and I am stay at home mom. I clean a lot! This product helps me get the job done quickly!

I love the heavy-duty scrubber sponge! At first I wasn't sure this weird rubbery green thing was really going to clean my nasty pots and pans - but it did, and boy did it! I've used my sponge on everything from pots with burned-on rice to mud-encrusted sneakers and it always gets the job done. The sponge fits my hand nicely, and it doesn't shed little "bits" like other sponges I've used. I'm definitely a sponge convert and I will continue to use this sponge on all the nasty, crusty messes that come my way!

The soft sponge side is perfect for my dishes, cups and silverware and the rough side gets every bit of tough pieces off my pots and pans. Without needing to switch to something else, I can wipe out my sink when I am done. This one sponge works awesome for everything. I even have one that I use in the bathroom.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the cheap scrub sponges for years, I thought saving 10 cents or so was great. I received a sample of the 3M- Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge. I had made some lasagna over a month ago and some of the oil from the cheeses left burned on oil on the outside of the lasagna dish. I cooked something else in the pan which was not messy. I thought maybe I'll try to get the oil marks off with this new 3M-Scotch Brite Scrub sponge. I just added a drop or two of liquid dish detergent and off they came with very little effort, some I had to scrub, but the majority was easy.

One still has to be cautious that it isn't too abrasive for the item it is being used on. Great for scrubbing oven racks or other items with caked on grease, dirt and other tough challenges. It holds up well and can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher, too.

I never use anything else!I can use the heavy duty sponge inside refrigerators, stovetops,countertops, cabinets, the heavy duty sponge is great for all my cleaning needs!!!

I love these scrub sponges. I use them for cleaning stubborn spots on pots and pans. I also use them in the bathroom tub and sink to clean away grime and soap scum. They come out sparkling clean. My daughter introduced them to me. She uses them all the time also.

I have used the Scotch-Brite heavy duty rectangular sponges for years. As others have noted, over the past 2 or so years, I have noticed a slight decline in the durability of the sponges as the price has increased. However, with my last two purchases , I have reached my limit. I can no longer find the rectangular sponges - only the curved shaped ones - and they are TERRIBLE! They do not rinse cleanly (always feeling greasy), the green scrubby pills like a cheap sweater after only a few uses, and it just is a ridiculously inferior product. I am taking my money elsewhere, I am sorry to say.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried several scrub sponges through the years and I always end up going back to these Scotch Bright Heavy Duty Scrub Sponges. They do a wonderful job getting the stuck on food off the stove, pots and pans, and scuff marks off the floor. They are also great for soap scum in the shower / tub. I can remember my mom using these when I was young, she always had one for the sink and one for the floor. Any spots or scuffs on the floor and she would just toss the sponge on the floor and scrub it a bit with her foot before continuing her mopping. I asked her once why she did this and she said because her mom did and because it works. Well I am now grown with kids of my own and when my 13 year old daughter recently asked me the same question I asked my mom when I was little I found myself replying the same way. "Because my mom did it this way and it works so why fix what's not broken" These sponges have been around for a while and they work so why wouldn't you want to use them :)
