Making my life easier is what I'm looking for every day! Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge wins every time I am challenged by the messes that are left for me. Funny...know one seems to claim them. But I know they won't be around long! Keep Disinfecting Wipes around for in between times and don't forget the car! Thank you Scotch Brite!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me save you a lot of time, trouble, and money. I have been buying cleaning supplies for more than fifty years, and Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponges are quite simply the best scrubber sponges available on this planet, at any price! I buy them in bulk quantities. I keep one sponge in the kitchen for general clean-up duties, a second one nearby just for washing the dishes, a third in the bathroom (it does get rather nasty in there), one in my desk (yes, I have been known to spill my morning java), several in the car (indispensable for windshields and messy passengers), and half a dozen in the garage (for those all-too-frequent "dagnabbit!" moments). If Scotch-Brite products were ever taken off the market I would have a stroke. Simply stated, a world without Scotch-Brite would truly be an unending nightmare! My Last Will and Testament stipulates that a case of Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponges be packed inside my coffin! Take it from a grumpy old man who is hard to please; sampling other brands would just be a big waste of your time, effort, and money. Do yourself a favor and buy the very best scrub sponges available! You will pat yourself on the back for being such a savvy shopper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Scotch Brite since I was 7 or 8 years old (I'm over 50 now). My mom swore by them and when the days of non stick surfaces on pots started, they became indispensable if you didn't want pieces coming off in your food. These heavy duty pads work even better on the really hard to get off stuff on your pots and last a bit longer in my opinion that the regular pads.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to review this product because it's been in my life forever. When I say forever, I remember doing dishes, standing on a chair so I could reach the sink when I was little. We had this green scrubber then, and I still use it now. Since I've moved to Chicago I no longer have the luxury or a dishwasher, so I have to wash everything by hand yet again. I no longer need to stand on a chair though. I not only use this scrubber for my tough to get clean dishes, it works wonders on counter and the mess I make on the stove and inside the oven. When I do deep cleaning once a month, I also use it to scrub up whatever mess has formed under my drawers in the refrigerator. It doesn't stop there either. It gets the gross stuck on food off the microwave plate too. I have another one I keep with bathroom supplies and use it to scrub down my tile walls in the bathtub too. It's so versatile. If you need elbow grease for any job, save some energy and use this gem. It's rare to find a product you use throughout your entire life, and it still is the best option. I love this green scrubbing machine!

I love Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Sponges! I have never come across a dish I couldn't get clean as long as I have one of these! I have been using these sponges for over 10 years and I refuse to use any other brand. You have not discontinued my sponges - that is important to me! When I find a product that suits my needs perfectly and it gets discontinued it is such a disappointment! It happened to me with microwave popcorn and facewash. I know I can always count on my heavy duty sponges! You are a great friend Scotch Brite!

Great tool to use. It's just like it says get it done right! Its great for everyday for the bathroom and kitchen problems. A non-stick pans's best friend! A bargin of a price and you can always find coupons in the newspaper weekly on Scotch-Brite products.

I have been using this line from Scotch-Brite for quite awhile now and it doesn't shy away from any job from the stove grates to dishes to skillets with dried/baked on food... DO NOT EVER REPLACE THIS SPONGE!!!! looking to buy up as many as I can to keep in it stock in case it gets replaced in Walmart like it did with the dots one.

As I was growing up I heard the phrase "Elbow Grease" a lot, mainly from my Grandmother! This was her way of determining the amount of effort I put into doing the cleaning chores that she assigned to me. In short, if you didn't bend your arm at the elbow and bear down with your arm muscles,(as opposed to using just wrist and hand), you were not cleaning something to the level she expected from you. Her two favorite jobs to assign me for "elbow grease" cleaning were the kitchen floor and the bathtub. Back then I didn't have access to durable, manageable scrubbers! AS I've gotten older and more arthritic, my "elbow grease" efforts at cleaning have fallen short at getting the dirty jobs as clean as I want them. That is why I almost always purchase Scotch Brite heavy duty sponges and also their scrub brushes. They do not require as much personal "elbow grease" from me but still enable me to get the clean results i expect for my efforts. I especially like the durability of the heavy duty sponges. They last a LOT longer than other brands and provide an easier method of both scrubbing and absorbing any cleaning liquids, without a lot of Elbow Grease. These sponges, as well as the scrub brushes, are easier for my arthritic hands to maintain good cleaning pressure and also to have a better grip on them than many other brands. They are my own special old-age "Elbow Grease"!

I have been using the scotch Brite Heavy Duty Kitchen Scourers for as long as I can remember. The last couple of packs that I have purchased have been a problem. The scourers have been detaching from the sponges after three or four uses for no reason. I am very disappointed especially as they have become so costly. This is the barcode for the latest pack which I purchased 6001340489580.
