new scotch brite cleans really good but after 3-4 uses it loses its touch :( ..But it's really good to clean tough residue.

I use scoth brite sponges on all of my heavy duty cleaning jobs. They allow me to get things cleaner than I ever thought possible.

The heavy duty sponges are great for pots and pans. I have a tendency to burn food and they get the stuff off that is stuck on with less effort.
