To help extend the life of your solar post caps, here are a few care tips: • Clean the solar panels regularly – Gently wipe away dust, pollen, or debris with a soft cloth so the panels can absorb maximum sunlight. • Ensure proper sunlight exposure – Install caps where they receive direct sunlight for most of the day, as shaded areas reduce charging efficiency. • Replace the batteries every 1–3 years – Solar lights rely on rechargeable batteries, which typically last between 1–3 years. Replacing them on schedule helps maintain brightness and run time. • Seasonal maintenance – In harsh winters, consider storing the caps indoors.
