Good value for the potency

I have been taking fish oil to aid in joint lubrication even though my MD turns his nose up at the idea, but I have evidence it works for me and my latest purchase of this product adds to that proof. I have been using Nature Made, purchased at Sam's Club, for many years but my wife recently bought this Member's Mark brand when I wasn't shopping with her. Coincidentally, my left knee started hurting and there was no incident that would cause it to start to ache. I then remembered I had changed from Nature Made Fish Oil to Member's Mark, so I switched back and the pain/ache is now going away again. The two products have similar listed ingredients and quantities, but whatever magic mojo Nature Made is using is definitely better for my joints, so ... sorry ... only a single star from me.

Not cutting it

We were using the much more expensive Sports Research Triple Strength brand omega 3 supplement. In the interest of cutting costs, I began to search for a new omega 3 supplement that had similar amounts of DHA and EPA, was third party tested to be free of mercury and other heavy metals, etc. A pretty big list. There weren't any. Then I found this little gem. It even is made from the same fish as SR, wild Alaskan Pollock. However, there is one major difference that keeps this from being a true dupe for SR. Member's Mark omega 3s are formed from ethyl esters instead of triglycerides. This causes a lot of debate in the health and science world. Look it up if you aren't familiar. I think it's inconclusive. It's not enough to deter me, anyway. I'm taking two a day, which is what I did with SR. So enjoy this awesome, inexpensive omega 3 supplement!!
