I love that this waffle maker has the flip design as this helps the batter cover the whole cooking surface and turns out much better looking and more evenly cooked waffles. Plan on trial and error for your first couple batches to learn what is your preferred cook time. I use the same setting each week with predictable results.

My family have been avid frozen waffle connoisseur since what feels like was the dawn of man. Finally, I felt the creative urge to make actual waffles with perhaps more nutritional substance than my frozen freezer friends could provide. I decided on the Dash Flip Waffle maker initially because of its unique ability to be stored sideways which provide such a small counter space footprint, I didn’t end up having to sacrifice any of my other appliances to keep it there! Initially, the warmup of the waffle maker was surprisingly quick, and, with its rather easily intuitive light sequence, I made my first in less than 5 mins. It just warms up - you see a light, you pour batter and flip, then see another light. BAM. Happy Kids. I really thought it would take a few practice runs to get the hang of it but I just ended up using the recipe book and had no weird, or poorly cooked waffles at all. They also slid right off, didn’t create a mess at all (I originally put a paper towel underneath because I feared my own capabilities:) Easy clean and awesome side profile storing, I couldn’t be happier with this little yummy maker!

Which is why we haven’t got a waffle maker is because of space. We made pizza waffles and grilled cheese as well in this waffle maker. The possibilities are endless!

No need to start up your stove for the older style, and easy enough to use to make some waffles in no time! Directions are clear, there is no assembly required, and it works well enough. The only drawback is that while it makes waffles toasty brown, it doesn't make them crispy, so it requires me to cook them 3-4x longer to put some good crisp on them. And clean up a little annoying since you have to wipe deep in those crevices and the iron/cooking surface does not dissassemble easily for cleaning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been loving this Belgian waffle maker! It is really easy to use and the waffles are always tasty! There are a few recipes in the instruction booklet and very easy to make. The waffle maker is easy to use- pour the waffle mix in close lid and flip. There are two indicator lights to let you know when it’s done. Once the cooking completes light illuminates the waffle is ready. Just flip and open. It’s nonstick so the waffle comes out very easy. There is an overspill Plate if needed. Cleanup is very easy. I love that it can stand up to be stored to take up less room. We love making these waffles for our family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ceramic coating really appealed to me bc I’m wary of Teflon. I made some gluten free waffles with berries and bananas folded in. Smelled great but was a bit messy. A little hard to clean too as the griddle part doesn’t detach

I haven’t had a chance to use my waffle maker yet, so I will come back at a later date and review the product. It’s well-made and easy enough to use according to the instructions. Based on how well it’s made and the instructions going to get the product 4 star because I won’t submit it without the giving stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first waffle maker that I was excited to use. This is very light and very easy to operate. This way, I can put it inside a cabinet and take it out and put it back easily. Being a compact size it is very easy to clean and won't take up so much space. I usually eat waffles with family every weekend, so it helps to easy clean it up and store away the same day. Works very well. Heating is great and heats up quickly as I would have expected. So far so good. no sticking. Waffles are fluffy and tasty! I'd recommend if anyone else that likes to make waffles at home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dash Belgian waffle maker is wonderful. It heats up fast and the indicator lights show when it’s preheated to add the waffle mix to the heating plate. After oiling the plates it is recommended that you use 1 cup of mix but I found that was too much! It overflowed as soon as it started cooking. However there is a plastic drip plate to place at the bottom so cleanup was easy. I used approximately 3/4 of a cup of mix and that seemed to be the perfect amount. The flipping can be a little confusing as to when to flip it because it doesn’t really tell you. Also, the handle would get stuck when trying to flip the waffle over and wouldn’t budge. After a few tries to was able to turn. The indicator light comes on when the waffle is cooked. They came out perfect! Not too brown, just a tad crispy but mostly thick and fluffy. Overall this Belgian waffle maker is great and very easy to use!
