Bought this because my radio in the car stopped working right before my 18 hour drive and it did way than I expected the mic is clear so people can actually hear you clearly when on a phone call the battery life is great and was able to charge while playing music with no issue for continuous play back

Let me just put it on front street. I'm a Bose fan. I currently own a 1st gen SoundDock, a pair of IE wired earbuds, and a Companion 5 2.1 computer speaker system. I was curious about the SoundLink Flex because of the fact that my SoundDock is in need of some TLC and secondly, I wanted something that would be compact and portable for my camping adventures. The thing that sealed the deal was actually *listening* to this thing in action. All I needed was 4 seconds of demo at a big box store to know that not only I wanted it, but more importantly, I NEEDED it in my life. Super rich bass tones, perfect treble clarity to match, it's exactly what you'd expect from Bose and they delivered! Stupidly, I didn't buy one right then and there, but I made myself agonize over the purchase for 2 hours before I relented and bought it. Pairing my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and first gen ipod touch were a breeze, as was navigating the app on my phone. I gave this thing a workout going from modern heavy metal, to jazz (big band and fusion), to country, live albums, classical, cumbia, to r&b and the SoundLink Flex made all of it sound beautiful! It's worth every cent I paid for it. I also use this to play my podcast that I fall asleep to using the timer and even spoken words sound great. Don't let the mono speaker setup discourage you. I too am an audiophile (hence my love for Bose), but in reality you might as well be hearing the spacial distribution as if it were two speakers. It sounds that good!

Bought 2 of these flex speakers refurbished a few weeks ago. Received in like new condition. They work and sound amazing. Was a little hesitant on the refurbished factor, but great savings for great product. Love that I can connect the two together & play in stereo mode. Very happy with my purchase.

I've only had it for about a month. But I really like it... I bought it because the radio in my work truck quit working and I didn't want to go through the hassle of replacing it... But I've been using it for way more than that.. The sound quality is excellent... When people hear it they immediately say wow! That thing sounds great... My girlfriend liked it so much that she bought one... I've seen reviews that said the battery doesn't last long, but I haven't experienced this.. I get about 8 to 10 hours out of a charge. I would highly recommend this speaker... You can literally take it anywhere..

Extremely satisfied with this speaker. Sounds great, has substantial volume, bass and treble with all frequencies in between. I am using it in my side-by-side UTV with a velcro bar mount on the roof roll cage while I'm out plowing snow, and have no issues with volume, or connectivity. The only improvements I could potentially think of is maybe a way to manually select/override the position audio tuning in the app, or an in app equalizer. Since I mount this with the main grill facing almost down, I'm not sure which audio tuning it is using, and might not actually be get the most out of this feature, or the best sound for my application. But again, it still sounds great, just like every other Bose product I own, and I do have quite a few products, old and new.

Astonishing sound is totally accurate. Bought mine two weeks ago and was pleasantly impressed by the crispness of the sound and the spatiality of the sound, which fills your space with quality performances. Another BOSE product that excels in making your music unforgettable.

Wonderful great sound and quality like this small , feels good to touch, thank you Bose! I wish the app had an equivalier !! ! It would be much better, because when I use it with my macbook pro that brings equializer, the sound is much better than from iphone, ipad!!! PPONGAN EQUALIZADOR BOSE!!!

My apartment has a rather loud fan in the bathroom. I wanted a Bluetooth speaker for the bathroom that I didn't have to worry about around water. This is a great purchase. I no longer have to worry about splashing/exposing to water and I can finally hear my music/podcasts in the bathroom. On occasion I also use it poolside--I have not yet used floating feature!

Great sound. Crystal clear and balanced sound. You can hear all the nuances of a song you may not have heard before. It is loud enough to cover a large space, and you can pair more than one to create a larger sound stage. No matter the position, you will always have optimal sound. I also had great experiences making phone calls. The build quality and materials are excellent. From the silicone to the powder coated steel grille, you can feel the premium quality. They are durable, splash proof, extremely portable, but is also a chic addition to any room. The battery life is long lasting and can be used while charging using the universal USB C type cable. What else am I forgetting? The price! I’ve used many different speakers, including more premium Bose models. This is the BEST wireless speaker I have ever used regardless of price. You can get this for less than the most popular wireless earphones, if you get it on sale, even better. If you’re looking for a sign, this is it. Run! Don’t walk. No, they are not paying me for this review. I am just a huge fan. In fact, I bought more as gifts for family members. They love it too!

Bought this about 2 weeks ago. We upgraded from the Soundlink Color. We were amazed buy the difference in sound from such a small speaker. We’ve been buying Bose for years and this is a must upgrade if you enjoy great sound from your portable speakers. Wish it came in more colors.
