Astonishing sound is totally accurate. Bought mine two weeks ago and was pleasantly impressed by the crispness of the sound and the spatiality of the sound, which fills your space with quality performances. Another BOSE product that excels in making your music unforgettable.

I've owned this speaker a month now and it is beyond astounding! I'm an audiophile and I take sound quality very seriously. Bose absolutely delivers with the Flex! The sound from this speaker can't be described accurately, it MUST be heard! Crisp, clear, and accurate tones across all spectrums, even at high volume. And this speaker can go LOUD for its size. And bass? "No bass Bose" used to be a common phrase. No more people! The bass from a speaker of this size mystifies me. It is deep, powerful, and clear. Again, it has to be heard to be believed. Just incredible sound! And no, you won't get the 12 hours play time at high volume. That's okay. You WILL get 7-8 hours of astounding sound quality, which is well worth it. This speaker is golden. As a matter of fact, I'm purchasing another to pair them. GREAT job Bose!!!

Impressive sounds from highs to bass. The speaker sounds great from any position and it's well made with high materials. I have the black one, however, the rubberised side and back part easily attracts dirt and lint is the only annoying issue. I would have given it a 5 stars if not for that slight flaw. I love the feature of letting you know how much battery power is left. I highly recommend it for the overall great sound.

I bought two of these to use in a stereo pair. Seemed like a very cool feature. The sound has been great. No complaints at all here. The charging is a bit of a pain. I have the Mini Soundlink II and it has a base you place the unit on and it automatically charges. It sure would be nice if these did the same. The thing I really dislike is the hassle that you have to go through to get stereo mode to work. You have to use an app on your phone and then turn both speakers on. Then you issue a command in the app to pair them. Then another click to make them a stereo pair. I find that it always takes more than one try to get them to pair and frequently more than that. Very disappointing. Why can't I have them always stay in stero mode?

Bought this about 2 weeks ago. We upgraded from the Soundlink Color. We were amazed buy the difference in sound from such a small speaker. We’ve been buying Bose for years and this is a must upgrade if you enjoy great sound from your portable speakers. Wish it came in more colors.

Speaker connected to my Android phone without issues. However, when I went to connect the speaker to a tablet, the bluetooth connection stopped working. Had to reset the speaker and avoid the Bose Connect app to get it to work. Appears to be an ongoing issue in regards to Bose/Android. Speaker looks really good and works really good, if you can get it to work. Hopefully Bose can come up with a fix.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bose is well known for creating innovative sound systems. They've been in the business for years. This portable speaker is a perfect example of what theyre known for. In my honest opinion, I expected a little more bass. The app you download to connect doesn't do anything extra. It would be great to have more equalizer control thru the app. Overall, this is a great portable speaker with quality sound for it's price.

Bose has a fine reputation for classical music, but this speaker just does not play it loudly enough. All the 5 star reviews you see are for popular music only. The fact that it is designed for outside use makes it even less acceptable. Just in my small one bedroom apartment, I had to crank the volume up to max just for it to sound moderately loud playing Tchaikovsky symphonies, Mendelssohn string quartets, or Beethoven piano sonatas. I returned it. I made sure that I was not getting anything wrong with the settings before I determined the speaker wasn't right.

I brought this for me as a bithday present and I love it! I already own a SoundLink Flex in Carmine Red, but I think Chilled Lilac this is one of the best colors released on a Bose product so far. It's incredibly ease to pair with phone's, laptop, tablet, etc. I also love that I can pair my 2 speakers on party mode and double the sound.

I love these speakers. I can’t believe that quality of sound came come from such a small speaker! One sounds really good, but 2 in stereo mode sounds incredible! It is clear even at distance outdoors., and the feel of them speaks of the quality of build. Solid little speakers with a sound that rivals speakers ten times the size. I recommend this for anyone who likes a quality product!
