Not Your Momma’s Dish Drainer!

It may sound silly to get excited over a dish drainer but this one is worth a shout out! First, it’s pretty! It’s also very well made. The frame is coated metal with wooden handles and the drain mat is sturdy. There are silverware and cup hook-on options as well. The drain mat has a removable/extendable drain spout option that makes this customizable for many scenarios.

Very nice looking dishrack!

Very nice looking dishrack! Probably one of the nicest we have owned. Only 2 slight negatives. The first is the drain. There is a drain hole in the center that channels water underneath to the sink. This drain is not slopped, so there is always a little residue in the bottom of the rack. The other negative is the silverware holder on the side. You can't put much in it. You have to pay attention to balance. Overall, small negatives.

Member's Mark Modern Dishrack (Black)

This dishrack is very well designed and made of quality materials. I order the black with wooden handles - the combination looks sleek and modern. It looks great on my counter, especially with my stainless steel appliances since they have black accents. It has a plastic base where the metal dishrack sits and the water drains into the sink. This is the most clever dishrack I have seen to date. It has a hole in the center with a spout that extends and discharges the water into the sink. The spout is movable from side to side and end to end allowing you to drain from the handle ends or the sides. It drains so much better than my previous one that merely had a open-ended plastic mat that I had to raise the one side to get it to actually drain in the sink and not the counter because of its poor design. This will not be an issue with this one. It comes with a metal cup rack attachment that easily and quickly hooks on to any of the sides and drains into the main dishrack. It also has a two compartment plastic utensil caddy that hangs on the side of and drains into the main base. It worked great holding my dishes (even when fully loaded with pots and pans) and drained where it should... into my sink. My only complaint would be that the plate slots could a little wider spaced. They hold dinner plates great but my regular pie plates were too deep to slide into them. Aside from that I am excited to use this for years to come.

Dish drain

After assembling the drain I found that it was easy to use and I was able to store a good amount of dishes. I like the added feature of a tray under the glass holder. My last one lacked this feature and water was always on the counter. I also like the angled drain piece that connects on the bottom. I was able to turn it and place the dish rack the direction that made sense to me.

Sleek, modern & looks great!

This is a very attractive dish rack, which is something I never thought I would be saying, but it truly is very sleek and nice looking. It is very modern and has a large capacity. The frame is black metal with wood handles. The drip pan is black plastic and has an adjustable drain arm. This allows the rack to be positioned with any of its four sides facing the sink. This is a very nice feature. It has a removable plastic silverware tray and a removable metal cup holder. Both of these attach to the outside of the rack frame, allowing for more dishes to fit inside the frame. It is a nice looking, functional dish rack. I especially like the cup holder on the outside which works great for drying my baby’s bottles on. I would definitely recommend.

Functional, stylish, and modern design. Good buy

Probably the best dish drainer I have ever purchased. The drain in the bottom let me decide how to position it on my counter the way I wanted it and drain into the sink. The same goes for the position of glass a cup holder along with the silverware drainer. It have the ability to have things the way that work best for me. The black and wood trim are nice. Very good quality with 3 different materials used. Metal, plastic, and bamboo.

Very stylish and above average dish rack

I like the size and style of this dish rack, and it is satisfactory for daily use. However, I believe it has two small design flaws that affects its complete draining of all water off the tray: there should be a slight angle/tilt to the tray so that the water drains toward the sink (perhaps the legs on one side are slightly higher than the other side), and the hole in the tray should be closer to an edge instead of closer to the middle of the tray; this would allow all the water to be emptied into the trough and then into the sink rather than pooling in the tray. Overall, I like the design which provides ample space for lots of varying sizes of dishes, and plates stay upright while drying, which other cheaper, plastic racks did not provide. The extra space for glasses and utensils being moveable provides versatility as well. I have tried three other dish racks before this one, and this one is far better, but I will be adding another drainage hole near the edge to completely empty the tray of pooled water which currently leaves unsightly mineral deposits on the sleek black surface.

Dish Drying Rack

This is a great drying rack as far as size and aesthetics but it shows water spots. It also doesn’t drain as it should. There’s usually a little puddle in the middle. Really the water spots are the worst and it says you can’t wipe it with anything that has chemicals. I like my anti bacterial wipes but I guess I can’t use them.

Nice dish rack

Arrived with the “wooden” handle broken. This thing is really a neat design but I dislike the wire rack and the way it sets up the side. The plastic bottom is designed to drain out into the sink. It’s hard for the wire racks to stay assembled The wire coated racks are well done and looks to be easy to keep clean and well coated so they shouldn’t rust. As far as the look … this is nice looking and aesthetically pleasing. It is large and takes up a good amount of counter space. It’s neat and looks like a functional design. Overall Nice dish rack if you don’t have a dishwasher this will hold all your dinner plates Will hold up to 13 plates.

Love the idea, engineering could’ve been better

I was hopeful because we’ve been using a drying mat for years and I was ready for a change. I have a standard, drop-in sink and the drain spout isn’t long enough to get to the actual sink. I tried pouring propping the feet of the drainer up on the lip of the sink, but of course when I did that, no water could escape the hole. I had to fashion something up with aluminum foil and it looks ridiculous. The drain hole in the pan holds water unless there’s a lot of water. It’s doesn’t have enough of an angle to push the water into it. I often have to pick up one side or the other and try to get the water to go down the hole. I didn’t worry about it at first but it’s too much water to evaporate in a timely manor and after a couple days, it gets stagnant and slightly gross.

We're sorry to hear your dishrack does not drain properly, Bo. It sounds like you may need to use the detachable extender feet for the dishrack to drain properly in your drop-in sink. If you did not receive these extender feet with your purchase, please feel free to call the Member Support Team at 888-301-0332 for assistance in obtaining a set. We apologize for the inconvenience.
