It’s really got it all the design is so sleek and minimal. The wifi connectivity is amazing. The ability to switch on the ac as soon as you know you’re heading home to come home to a pre-cooled room is *chef’s kiss*. My task rabbit mentioned it was one of the easiest installations he’s ever done and will be recommending his friends. Only think I’ve been questioning is these sounds that’s comes out of it sometimes while running. It almost sounds like a full sized refrigerator is running (mind you I got the small 6000 BTU). Not sure if this is normal or if it was accidentally dropped during delivery. Other than that, this ac is like the iPhone of ac’s.

We have a kitchen/living room area with a huge, arched ceiling. Any air conditioner powerful enough to cool the area was too big for our windows. Enter Windmill. It kept us cool during the current heat wave caused by the global warming that many idiots still claim doesn't exist, and it looks great. A friend saw ours and immediately ordered one for herself. Thanks for such an excellent product, guys.

Replaced an old window unit with a Windmill and honestly couldn't recommend it more to anyone looking for a new window AC unit. The kit that the unit comes with is amazing and really helps to keep the cold air inside, rather than escaping out plastic side panels that don't seal well. The app is great as well. My favorite feature is the kWh monitor, which shows you how much energy the unit is using (or isn't using, in the cast of eco mode) over time. I was pleasantly surprised that the cost wasn't much greater than most other brands you'd find at big box stores. Overall, would definitely purchase another one if I ever needed another unit replaced in my home.

First of all, we were amazed at how quiet the unit is! The installation process was easy and while we got it because of the efficiency gains, the bonus has been that it looks good and has a very useful app to control it. It is definitely the air conditioning choice of the future. Highly recommended!

I live in an old house with no option for central. I’ve bought several units in the past, and they are always so loud. The noise was my primary concern in selecting a new unit. Windmill is very quiet compared to anything else out there. It took about 2 minutes to install, is much more attractive in design and compact in size. Very happy so far.

I love the look of the air conditioner. The install was very simple thanks to your detailed directions. BUT! It’s much louder than I expected. The only time it’s quiet is in the fan mode. All other modes come with a high pitched ring that is almost unbearable to me. So… not in love with this but also don’t want to deal with a return. Maybe there’s something wrong with this unit?

As noted in my review title I installed the first unit but then it was making a really loud noise (way worse than my former regular type AC). I reached out to customer service, who were excellent (I sent them videos and they agreed something wasn't right), and totally on top of everything. I did need to rebox the unit (at 70lbs no easy task) but Windmill sent a shipping label and arranged to have FedEx come to my home to pick it up, which was great, and sent a replacement unit that came very quickly. The replacement unit works very well - it is very quiet as advertised (not silent, that's not possible), but sometimes I do actually forget its on when walking in from another room. So very happy with the replacement unit! One note, unlike other A/Cs, this unit does seem more "precious" or prone to damage, so you need to really handle it carefully to ensure it functions properly, but overall, very happy with the upgrade, and still very happy I went with Windmill!

The customer service is the absolutely best I've encountered in along time. I had an issue and was walked through the troubleshooting and when it wasn't able to resolve it Windmill literally put a new one in the mail right then and there. A great company, even better customer service and I product I absolutely love!! Thank-you!!

We purchased two windmill units last year and have been very happy with them. They cool the room efficiently, are quiet, and look nice. We recently had a problem with one of the units and Windmill customer service was great. They were quick to respond and fix the problem.

Pros: Does the job of cooling pretty quickly and fan only mode is quiet. Easy to install and app works for me. Customer service was wonderful and very prompt/easy to work with. Cons: Eco mode never shuts off when it reach's set temp on app. It is nosier than I thought to the point I worked with customer service to exchange for a new one thinking it got damaged in shipping. With the new one it's still the same noise (it's a vibrating noise like the pipes are against one another while in AC mode) so I'm assuming that it is what it is and I can't keep exchanging/returning ACs , but for advertising in it as so quiet (I have the whispertech one) I was disappointed. It is a little heavier and longer than my old AC but they state that on the box.
