Windmill gets a lot right with their window AC units. WiFi connectivity, sleek design, works as advertised, and is easy to set up. It's not whisper quiet, but it's certainly quieter than the unit I replaced, and Windmill does not advertise quietness as a feature. The marketing makes the unit look futuristic, but it sounds and runs like a pretty typical window AC unit. The app has nice features, but I would like to see some of those features cross over into Google Home more than just on/off function. Overall, I'm pleased with the aesthetics, more efficient build, and ease of use. It's certainly an awesome start for a new company. I've already bought 2 Windmill units (one Medium, one Small) and look forward to future innovations. This is certainly a nicer window AC unit than most of the competition in a similar price range, and would recommend this brand to almost anyone.

Honestly, I was hoping that the windmill would be a step up from the AC I had prior, but I’m not convinced. The larger unit doesn’t do a great job of even cooling off my small bedroom and yet the dead of summer, so I’m thinking I’ll have to figure something else out.

We had a brand new windmill 10000 btu ac unit that suddenly stopped working and windmill staff tried to help us get the. Unit to work without success. They then got all of our information and sent new unit immediately., which was fantastic. The total time involved until we had the new unit was 1 week. Thanks David

This is the best window air conditioner I've ever owned. I purchased the 10,000 BTU model and it does a much better job of cooling the same space that the GE 12,000 BTU model it replaced. Not only that, but it is sooooo quiet. Its quiet in a way that you would not imagine is possible for a window unit. Finally, it has the easiest installation ever, and it literally comes with everything you need.

I was a little skeptical about the A/C thinking that it may be more looks than actual performance, but I have to say it delivers on both. It is much quieter than most A/Cs so it isn't disruptive (especially on the initial settings). Further, it cools my room efficiently. I also really love that the airflow is pointed upward, not only does that more effectively cool a room, but it also means that direct cold air isn't blowing on me based on my position. All in all, I would highly recommend.

Love our new Windmill Whisper Tech! It was so easy to install, it looks sleek, and really is quiet. My other favorite feature is that the air points upwards and doesn’t blow directly on me when I sleep. It creates more of a central AC feel than window air. I also love that there are no visible lights in the dark. Really want to get a second unit for our downstairs.

I am absolutely in LOVE with my Windmill AC unit. It has comepletelt transformed the look of my living area and I absolutely will be purchasing a second unit. The wait cools the room is also SO much better than traditional units as it comes out the top not directly at you!

I am thoroughly impressed with this air conditioner. I sleep near it and it's the quietest I have found to date. Customer service is great and Maggie was very helpful with replacing a noisy machine. The 6k keeps my smaller room evenly cooled and the top vent is great as it no longer blows on me when I am sleeping. 5+

This AC doesn’t cool below 72 degrees. I’ve been using it for four months and it cannot cool the room properly (and I’m in a small space about 120 square feet with no direct sunlight). I wish I never bought and want to warn everyone else. It was a waste of money I did not have to waste. Now I’m stuck with what basically turns out to be an overpriced fan. The filters are a joke don’t even cover the full space and the panel covers on sides are not as clean looking once installed. It’s awful.

I got a replacement sent as the original unit I bought was not blowing cool air. The replacement doesn’t either. It does not lower the temperature in the room at all, and the space it’s cooling is less than 250 sq feet. When I first turned it on, it blew cooler air for about ten minutes then became room temperature: This air conditioner does not work. Very disappointed.
