I love my Windmill products!! The customer support team at Windmill has been so supportive + helpful!! My AC unit was delivered, then stolen from my building. It was terrible! But they were really helpful throughout the process. The unit itself is insanely quiet, like it’s not even on + it’s keeping my apt cool during our first heatwave in NYC. I love that I can control the settings of the AC unit + oscillating fan thru their app! 2 HOT TIPS: Purchase the Onward shipping protection, it was a lifesaver! And purchase the plexiglass option for installation, I didn’t + regret it!

My 6,000 BTU Windmill A/C was replaced by Windmill even though it was a couple of months out of warranty. It had an E2 error that, even though the unit blew plenty of cold air, I could only control it with the remote or Android app. Customer service was helpful in walking me through the troubleshooting process and when I was unable to clear the code, the said they would send a new unit. It arrived in a couple of days. THAT IS GOOD COMPANY SUPPORT. And while I was disappointed that the unit threw a code at all, I was thrilled at the positive company response. You won't get that with LG or GE. Nope.

After years of using the standard AC window units, I wanted something more aesthetically pleasing, quieter, and more environmentally friendly. My Windmill AC is exactly what I wanted. Plus, it was easy to install and adjust the settings. I also like that the air blows up and around the unit, rather than in your face.

Love the Windmill so far. Sure it's stylish and modern looking, but the 'inner workings' of the machine is the best part. Super quiet, efficient, and the upward angle of the air really helps the room get quieter sooner. We have our unit in our kids' room and it's great to turn it on before they go to bed, and use the remote to turn it off when WE go to bed as the temperatures are getting cooler outside and we don't waste any unnecessary energy.

I appreciate how aesthetically attractive the Windmill is, and I can see a lot of thought went into making the installation process user-friendly. I also appreciate that the return was easy. But, a lot of people out there like me are experiencing the same issue where the temperature the AC puts out is 5-7 degrees higher than the setting. The fix support suggested didn't work (and the fix wasn't really clearly documented, which was frustrating). I am not sure the design choice to put the vents on the top make for the most efficient cooling, either. It seems you have some quality control issues at the moment, which I hope you work out.

This is our second windmill- we bought one in 2022 for our daughter’s nursery, and another this year for our bedroom. Both are the smallest version. They are great. Attractive as an AC unit can be, relatively quiet, able to be controlled remotely via app (great to turn on when you’re on the way home!), and best of all- they don’t beep when you push buttons or change settings, so ideal for a nursery!

This AC unit is SO pretty and it completely cools the room within minutes. The set up was extremely easy and stream lined. I love the way it looks, and I love that they thought to make simple covers for the accordion parts on the unit. I love that it's controlled by an app too. 10/10 I've recommended this unit to everyone who will listen!

Received the Windmill AC, installation was easy. Unfortunately, the compressor was not working. Contacted customer service (Lisbeth) who walked me through a few troubleshooting steps. Confirmed the compressor was bad and I received a new unit 2 days later. New unit works great! Best customer service I ever dealt with. And the AC unit, looks as good as it works. Joe Hauser

This AC is something else. Needed this for an office that gets poor HVAC circulation. The unit cools the office several degrees within a few minutes and keeps up with the computer equipment in the room as well. Install is super easy, much easier than with a typical unit. I was up and running within 5-10 minutes from box opening to unit turning on. The wifi feature is convenient to adjust temp when not at home. The compressor is also quiet and the eco mode seems to sip electricity while keeping a comfortable temperature. Price is worth it!

Let’s face it! The heat is not cool, specially when you are in a tiny room with a lot of work to do! This saved me, literally, I feel more productive and less grumpy, plus it was soooo easy to install that I did it myself, a person who knows nothing about installations, give it a try you wont regret it!
