I've owned a lot of different window air conditioners in my life, and Windmill's is by far the best. It's significantly quieter than any other unit I've ever used, looks great, and most importantly is incredibly effective at cooling our apartment (we have the 10k BTU model and our apartment is about 850 sq. ft). I also really appreciate that the air is vented vertically; I really feel like it allows for better circulation of the cool air. Lastly, the app is great; clean, simple, easy to use. Love our Windmill, would definitely recommend them to anyone in the market for a new window AC.

We've had our Windmill for a little over a week now and so far it's doing great! I like the app and how the display does not stay lit up. It was relatively easy to install and I do like the design. Customer service was also awesome and extremely quick to reply.

I have never had an air conditioner delivered so well in my life! The packaging was superb. Like no other I have seen. The easiest install of an air conditioner ever! It cools so well! I can even adjust the settings through my app! If you’re on the fence about this, take my advice and buy one now!

The windmill ac is quiet (whisper quiet!). It looks great and operates smoothly. I had a little trouble with the unit on delivery. The compressor was a little loud. So customer service helped replace it really quickly; it happened again, but they replaced it again and gave me some perks as a consolation. I’m confident the issue was in the shipment not the units itself, but the team at Windmill was super supportive and quick to help. Love the units we have and so happy at how quiet they are.

The Windmill was very easy to install by myself(took less that a 1/2 hour). The design is nice and clean and it quickly cools my bedroom. The controller is simple to use and easily understandable. The unit is a tad bit noisier than I would have liked. But, overall, it is a keeper and I am pleased with it.

Though I had trouble getting the AC due to shipping mistakes, the customer service team (especially Eli) was very helpful in ordering a replacement unit. The AC was well packaged with a well packaged installation kit. However my apartment needed some extra help to install due to the screws needing to have drill holes for it. Regardless of the installation being a bit more difficult, I really enjoy the AC. It’s quiet, does a good job and I love the app control.

Windmill is a quality company that stands behind their product! Getting a replacement A/C when mine all of the sudden stopped working, was a smooth and almost painless process… The process of removing the old A/C and installing the new one was so easy. I am kinda whimpy, so I had my adult son lift it and place it… placed the charcoal filter and plugged it in and we were up and running! Easy Peasy! And man does this A/C get cold! I wake up in the morning wrapped up in my covers like a burrito…

Pros: Does the job of cooling pretty quickly and fan only mode is quiet. Easy to install and app works for me. Customer service was wonderful and very prompt/easy to work with. Cons: Eco mode never shuts off when it reach's set temp on app. It is nosier than I thought to the point I worked with customer service to exchange for a new one thinking it got damaged in shipping. With the new one it's still the same noise (it's a vibrating noise like the pipes are against one another while in AC mode) so I'm assuming that it is what it is and I can't keep exchanging/returning ACs , but for advertising in it as so quiet (I have the whispertech one) I was disappointed. It is a little heavier and longer than my old AC but they state that on the box.

Styling - excellent Ease of install - very good Quietest setting - extremely quiet Noise at high fan - quieter than a regular AC, but louder than you may expect App features/functions - great App setup - bad. First one has to get the correct app ,and if you set up the other app you can’t use same email.

Awesome AC unit and even better customer service. I had an issue with my AC and contacted Windmill support. They responded immediately and offered ways to fix it before sending me an all new unit. Truly professional. Love how quiet and great it works. Going to upgrade my other old window units with a Windmill.
