There are some incredible pros and some not so great things, which I’m hoping aren’t common and just unique to my unit and home, but I’m doubtful. I have a cat that I leave alone for about a week at a time when I travel, and I live in NYC, so it’s really nice to be able to have the security of keeping a steady temperature in the room that I can control from anywhere. However, the thermostat is incredibly unreliable and almost always reading 6 degrees cooler than it actually is in the room. I have had to get used to that math when I set the temperature. I’m not sure if this is attributed to the fact that the AC’s fans blow the air upward and to the sides, as opposed to straight forward, and my window is set in/recessed about 5 inches. If this is the case, that’s a really bad design flaw. I set two automations that fired correctly the first few times, but then I’ll check to see that the set temp is different than the automation for no reason sometimes. The unit is so beautiful, easy to install, and the app is user friendly for sure. It’s about half as loud as my last AC I purchased in 2019. I’m not sure it’s worth the price tag.

This is the 3rd purchase of your A/C and I must say that the main reason for purchasing them is because of their quietness and they are quiet. I like the idea of having them connected to my phone it makes it easier to turn them off or on or adjust them without having to physically go to each room. As a bonus they do look a lot nicer than our other ones that where replaced .

Wonderful! I love its stylish, clean lines and installation was a breeze! It cools the room so silently that I can't always tell if it's on. It also cools quickly and without a disturbing air flow; more a gentle movements into the room that is not at all disruptive. I love this air conditioner.

The upward direction that the air blows is perfect! My desk is right by the side of the unit---I'm very comfortable sitting next to it all day and all the papers on my desk stay put! It is also so quiet that I've had to check to see if it is on a few times. I had help with installation but it was a breeze. I love all the options the for changing the temperature, too. The 6000 BTU model is more than enough to cool my entire living room (250 sq ft with 12 foot ceilings)

The air conditioning unit has some extremely smart features and a couple of simple solutions for chronic issues I've experienced with other air conditioners. With my prior air conditioners in the house every time I removes the plastic cover to change the filter it would never go back on properly and it would rattle consistently. The windmill has magnetic cover something so simple but brilliant

I am very happy with my purchase of the windmill air conditioner. It effectively cools my bedroom and home office, has low noise, and it was easy to install. The quality of the air conditioner is excellent, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an effective and affordable cooling solution. Thank you for making such a great product!

We wanted a window unit for our 1972 split level home! Our bedroom is the last room in the house, with only one AC unit. We didn't want to go through the hassle of installing a second unit, BUT I HATED the look of all window units. Then we found Windmill! WOW. It looks amazing! You can't even tell we have a unit. It really was a "breeze" to install like they said! You won't be disappointed. Finally we can sleep without sweating all night!

I love my new Windmill AC, especially being able to check my apartment's temperature while I'm at work and adjust the thermostat remotely so things are cool by the time my young family gets home. Even after I had problems with a few things, the support team was absolutely incredible and super responsive to all my needs. I felt very well taken care of, and I'm so thrilled that I tried out this new company!

To be extremely honest the entire process from ordering, shipping to installing was so effortless. I added the Windmill AC to help my 3 year old AC cool my apartment. The unit is so quiet and it works like a central air unit when set to a certain temp and with the air coming out of the top at the 45 degree angle it gets the entire room cool as soon as it turns on. I am also able to turn the unit on from work so my apartment is cool when I get home from work. I have the ability to not waste energy cooling my apartment when I am not at home. My older AC is either on or off. The install kit was very easy to read and understand. I am really impressed!! I will be purchasing another unit in the future!!

I love my Windmill. It is quieter than the one I had before, it cools better, and it looks nicer. Also, it fits in my 39" window (wider than specified.) I asked if there was an adapter I could buy for the larger window. Francesca answered almost immediately even though it was Sunday: "...accordion side panels, which can go from edge to edge for up to 40" wide...the cosmetic foam panels that we send along with the unit to cover/hide the accordion panels for a sleeker look... can only cover up to 38", hence there would be a small gap exposing a small bit of the accordion panels" but not an actual opening for flies to get in. So, I ordered it, and it arrived in no time. I was able to install it (with a helper--it takes a holder and a window closer) before the heatwave that hit here last week. Even with the 1/2" gaps on either side it looks pretty sleek. I'm very happy I with this a/c unit!
