Having the water maker on the inside does make thing a tad inconvenient but it make the outside appearance clean. Make sure if you are using the water and ice maker you get the appropriate plastic hose and the the braided metal one. It will make your water taste horrible, along with the ice. The only real issue I have with this machine is the inside compartment is just sligltly too small for all of my gallons of liquids and adjusting them would mess up the space for the other shelves. But the door shelves do make up for it. Overall great buy

I couldn’t pick a suggested review topic. All of them are spot on! I purchased my first LG refrigerator back in 2025. I loved it so much, I got another for my second home. It’s quiet, does a great job of cooling & freezing, there’s so much more room than my previous fridge, & it stays consistent. The pull-out freezer & double doors above are roomy & easily accessible. In the fridge part, there’s no need to move things around because you can see what you have. I’m saving money & energy with these 2 new appliances, which is a wonderful, added bonus. Highly recommend!!

Love my new LG French door fridge/freezer! I came from a Bosch that got bought back due to so many repairs. So happy I chose LG! Love the interior water dispenser and easy to change filter! Ice makes rapidly inside the freezer so no melty ice jams on the door. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge has been really great. The capacity is superb even though it’s technically a county depth. The doors are thick though so keep that in mind. They need to stick out beyond the door opening if you have it like ours next to a walkthrough galley kitchen doorway. The water filter and air filter do seem to wear down pretty quick. We’ve had it less than six months and we’re already about to need to replace both. Otherwise we love the rest of the features including the water dispenser inside.

This refrigerator was purchased after much research. It holds so much more than our previous counter depth refrigerator. The interior water dispenser works for us and gives a clean outside appearance. I gave it four stars because it was delivered with a small ding on one door and am in the process of having the door replaced. The LG rep has been very helpful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this refrigerator only several weeks ago for our weekend house and cannot give it definitive performance review as yet but can comment on its layout, features, and build quality. We discovered that this 27 cu. ft. counter depth refrigerator can store so much more than we thought it ever could. At first, we were even convinced that we may have purchased too large of a refrigerator. We have most all refrigerated items stored in direct view and arranged on the two interior doors. We're trying to organize the shelf interior so that we know where any given item is on a regular basis. We're not there yet. We have purchased clear plastic bins for use in the freezer section to better make orderly use of the space. The ice maker is a little slow but the ice collection box in the freezer is very convenient and doesn't waste space on the door. I find the inability to determine the actual refrigerator and freezer temperatures annoying and frustrating. The digital set temperature seems inadequate without also showing the actual temperatures. I had to realign the left door after delivery and installation after initially loaded it with items. The left door would not engage the top track to close the flap seal between the two doors. The instructions and tool provided helped me solve this problem that I felt should not have occurred. The water filter was easily installed and the interior water dispenser was convenient to use although we only drink spring water which we store in its 2-1/2 gallon dispensing container on one off the adjustable shelves. The exterior stainless finish is smudge resistant because it seems to have some kind of clearcoat finish over the stainless steel. I, however found two very small defects in that finish which I will live with. A further comprehensive review of this fridge will be given after a longer term of use has been established.

I believe I have the wrong housing for the filter that goes with the refrigerator. I have to tear the carcoal out of the plastic frame on the filter in order to use it in the housing that I have in mine.

Our old LG fridge lasted almost 12 yrs & we were very happy with it. This new Counter depth fridge is almost the same model with a few upgrades. Water dispenser inside works great. No button to push with free hand, just press glass against lever to get water. Only 2 produce/meat drawers, but they are large & can hold a lot of food. Even though this is a “counter depth” fridge, it is actually bigger than our old French door fridge. Door shelves are deep & can hold a lot. Freezer compartment big enough. Taller than old fridge so deff measure height! Love the clean look & no finger prints

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was forced to buy counter-depth vs std 27 cu ft b/c delievery people refused to move a 28 1/2" depth refrig through a 29" door opening. Payed $100 more, but figure meh, solves uncooperative movers. but, this has narrow shelves inside and huge door shelves --> would have preferred deeper shelves and less door shelf area. Also learned this one uses older, 4-piece-moving compressor design vs newer, single-piece-moving, so hoping it is as reliable for longer haul. Temp control is very good, like all LG's. Oh, the std 27 cu ft has multi-flow vs this filter flow, and would have liked to have had that as well. Lighting is very good inside. Haven't hooked up water line yet, but expect that will all go well, as other LG I have.

We love this refrigerator and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a counter depth fridge with a lot of capacity.
