I'm always trying to eat healthier and cutting down on consuming products with preservatives and additives. However, this is the first time I've ever realized there was a Natural version of Skippy peanut butter. I gave it a try and noticed the very smooth creamy texture. I look at the new jar of Skippy Natural PB and it says ‘No Need to Stir!' I love that proclamation! Obviously I don't eat peanut butter often enough so when I finally do have a craving for it, I find old PB jars laying around with hard PB and a thick layer of oil on top. But with this particular product, I no longer have to worry about the oil and PB separation issue! That is a game changer for me! It wins in my book for less additives, the creamy texture, and the no need to stir! Here's a tip: I used this easy to spread PB as a frosting for my brownies! And lastly, I have to disclose that I received this product for free in exchange for writing this honest review.

Overall my family and I enjoyed this peanut butter. Pros: Easily spreadable (even on very soft bread) doesn't separate like natural peanut butter, tasty, not too sweet Cons: Contains palm oil. I understand this is likely how they prevent separation from the oil from happening but I would prefer if this ingredient was left out. Personally, I try to choose peanut butter that only has peanuts and salt as the ingredients. However if I don't want to deal with the separation then I would pick Skippy's Natural Creamy Peanut Butter which still has pretty minimal ingredients.

This peanut butter is one of my kids' favorites. You do have to stir it upon opening. It has a really great flavor, but I'm really disappointed in the ingredients. It should not be labed Natural if it containd palm oil. Its a really bad inflammatory oil. I would buy again if the oil gets omitted

I wanted to love this natural peanut butter because you don't have to mix it before using it like some of the other brands. I have unresolved childhood trauma from the ones you have to mix. Unfortunately I didn't pay that close attention to the ingredients because this is made with palm oil and it's just not an ingredient I personally care to use. Aside from that, I was a creamy texture and you could taste the actual peanuts and not a bunch of added sugar.

We love our Skippy peanut butter in this house... and while I do like the taste of this natural one, I find myself going back to the original because I don't like the stirring process involved. Says "no stir" but oil pools at the top that needs stirring. If you don't mind stirring and prefer palm oil to hydrogenated vegetable oil, go with the natural version.
