I had researched & priced all over for a large comfortable sectional. While this was not the cheapest it was the best value. It is VERY sturdy, the sections do not shift when people sit down, The teak is left Natural...not unfinished. You can let it gray out for no maintenance or stain every year. The cushions are very light, but so far wipe clean. It is large enough for 2 adults and 2 dogs to stretch out for a nap! All our guests have been crazy about it.

We ordered this during the summer of '09 and got a great deal at the time. Free shipping plus a $200 Sam's gift card. Guess the current deal is not as good but nonetheless we really do enjoy this unit. We have a gigantic 1000 sq ft deck off the back of the house and this took up a pretty good chunk of it. Looks great and is very comfortable. So good that the neighbors 2 cats love sitting on it. Thats where the only drawback comes...cushions are white and these critters leave footprints all over it. I scotchgarded the heck out of it so hopefully that helps. Our chihuahua is of no help chasing these cats away and ends up sleeping next to them...

I purchased this set Spring 2010 - It has far exceeded my expectations!!! It is very sturdy and comfortable. The cushions do not move around when you sit on it. All of our guests rave over this set. However, it is challenging to keep the light cushions clean. I have found a hand held mini vac works best. I have also cleaned them once due to a little midew starting to show. I used a cap of Clorox Clean-up in a bowl of water - and a scrub brush. Rinse off with a water hose and let them dry in the sun. They turned out better than new!! I also decided to use spray on Scotch Guard which has made a world of difference. I'm thinking I will need to vacuum 1x per week and clean 1x per season. Even with the extra work I highly recommend this set. You will love it!!!!

A little bit of work to assemble, but worth it. We applied linseed oil to the wood to give it a rich look, and it is the finest outdoor furniture I've seen. The white cusions attract dirt/stains easily, but we scotchguarded them and it helps. I especially like that you can configure the individual chairs as you like, and attach them for greater stability.

I just assembled this set yesterday. It took a while. I did it myself in about 3 hours. The instructions are fairly clear but often matching screws was a challenge. The alphabet letters on the wood pieces did not always match the instructions provided. When you open the 3 large boxes it really looks like a daunting task. And it is. All I noticed under assembly required before purchase was "tighten screws". That's very true, but you must assemble the entire set. Oh joy! If you buy this set just a couple of tips for install.Get a helper to hold the wood pieces when your attempting to assemble. Empty all boxes and group all like pieces.When you insert screws don't tighten all the way until all pieces are fit together. Once you get it built, it is a really nice set. The quality is high, the seat and back cushions are thick and fairly comfortable.

We bought this set online and it was delivered promptly. I oiled all the pieces with Teak oil and put it together myself in one Saturday. It is sturdy and looks beautiful. The cushions are comfortable and look great. They are white, so they will OBVIOUSLY show some dirt. Still, a beautiful, well-made set at a very reasonable price.

My boyfriend and I bought this set last Spring, in 2010. We did stain the wood and so far its held up well over the past year. The white cushions CAN be a little daunting to keep clean, but they do spot clean very well. Last year, I wash all the cushions on my deck, with Oxyclean and a hose. This year, I decided to actually remove the foam and batting from inside and wash the covers in the washing machine Be careful when removing and reinserting not to put too much stress on the zipper ends of the opening. I had a few cushions come unstitched and the zipper fall off....easy to put back on and stitch back up, but better to handle with care to prevent that. I developed a roll-up technique when putting the foam back in the slip cover. Roll it into to thirds and insert in. This takes the stress off the zipper stitching. As far as washing, I washed them on hot, with Tide Stain Releaser and a couple of cups of Oxy Clean, as well as detergent. I washed them in about 3 batches. THEY LOOK BRAND NEW!!!!!!!!!!

These cushions look great - I agree with all the positive reviews. However, with my 3rd season coming up, it needs to be mentioned that they unravel at the fabric edges in the seam allowances, which are very small. You can either zigzag the seam allowance, which is difficult as the cording prevents getting in close enough, or seal them. I sealed mine using a hot knife, which should have been used in the first place when the fabric was cut out in order to prevent this problem. You just need to barely touch the edges to do this if the knife is really hot. This is a job that needs to be done with great care so you don't burn either yourself or the "good" fabric. . I use a metal baking sheet for the solid surface needed. It is possible there are products out there to do this as well.

I am so, so, so happy with this set. It came 2 weeks sooner than expected so we'll have set up and ready to go in time for Memorial Day! It came in 3 HUGE boxes and every piece has to be assembled. I was prepared for the assembly to lead to a bit of marital strife, but it went really smoothly! All the holes lined up easily and there was very minimal frustration in that regard. I definitely think you need 2 people and it took me and my husband about an hour and a half or 2 hours to assemble all 8 pieces. Once you get in a rhythm they start to go pretty quickly. Everything looks perfect and more importantly, is very, very comfortable. I can see myself laying outside on this for hours with a good book. I did take the extra step to put teak oil on all the pieces to really bring out the richness of the teak. That took about another hour and a half, but since I prefer the warm brown teak rather than the grey weathered look it was worth the time and effort to slow down the aging process. I will also say the red-orange color is a little lighter than it appeared on my computer screen. I actually like the color in person even better than what was shown on the screen, it pops beautifully against our tan/beige siding and green lawn. It's so nice how the cushions have velco straps to hold them in place. BEAUTIFUL!! Couldn't be happier.

Compared this to the sectional pieces at Pottery Barn - which I love. Price - about 30% less - and although white cushions impractical, still very pleased. Well-made, looks nice. We use in an outdoor seating area at the beach - and everyone is impressed. Would like to be able to buy matching accessories - such as side table and buffet. White cushions come with black marks that when sucked out with vacuum - come out. They should tell you this - BEFORE you try to remove with spot remover. Overall - very happy.
