Hard Noisy Ride

I was not told or read anything about this tire for my Corvette Grand Sport being a run flat tire. I found out from the dealer a few days after having the tires installed when I returned to have to lug nuts checked for exact tightness. The tire is very noisy and a hard ride.

    Not durable

I’m extremely disappointed with the durability of my Michelin tires. I purchased them just about a month ago, expecting the quality and reliability the brand is known for. Unfortunately, after a very normal driving experience, one of my tires already has noticeable sidewall damage. This was not due to reckless driving, but from a common road condition that any tire should reasonably withstand. For a premium-priced tire, I expected much better durability and resilience. It’s frustrating to invest in a trusted brand only to experience damage so quickly after purchase. Tires are supposed to provide safety and peace of mind, and right now, I’m feeling the opposite. I am hoping Michelin will stand behind their product and consider a replacemen...

look for better, avoid these trash tires.

not a durable tire. 2765 miles on developed a sidewall bubble that meant the entire tire needed to be replaced after michellin attempted to bland road hazard instead of manufact defect and during mechanics showed steal not intact and bubble was close to catastrophic bursting that may have lead to loss of control or accident. not readily available to be replaced been waiting 2 weeks. mechanics verified no road savage curb damage or accident or rim or tire cabbage to support anything but manufacturers defect with less than 0.1 mm tread used. look for better tires.

    Lexus LS460 Ribber

Bought these tires for my "New to Me" 2012 Lexus LS460. Ride improved greatly. These tires are also very quiet. While my car isn't a sports car, it does have a top speed of 150+, so I needed a "Z" speed rating. While it doesn't like to be pushed, the grip does feel more stable. Over all highly impressed with these tires.

    Good all-around tire

These are excellent "all-around" tires that provide reasonable traction in rain/snow/ice, allowing me to go through up to 6 inches of snow this winter without difficulty. This is surprising, given that my Cadillac CTS4 Performance Coupe is quite low, and has staggered tire sizes. The rear "steamrollers" should NOT do well in the snow, but yours do. On dry pavement, the ride is as smooth as can be expected in a low-profile tire, and handling is quite good. It is not as good as a dedicated, high-performance summer tire but, again, it is a great compromise.

    The BEST

I have purchased hundreds of sets of tires over the years... from winter tires to work tires for our vans to race track slicks... nothing beats Michellin... hands down. Michellin tires are always the smoothest ride, best traction and longest lasting tires... and I've tried most other brands. I would only buy Michellin's no matter what vehicle I have. The BEST!

    Can't recommend

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend these tires. This review comes after driving 50,000kms, city and long distance highway driving in an AWD vehicle. Tire size is 265/40R/21. Maybe this tire is not ultimately suitable for a low profile vehicle, I'm not sure. As I often read reviews before making a purchase, and I did before purchasing this tire, I feel compelled to write a review with my experience. In my opinion, this tire lacks stability and handling ability. They've always felt slippery in rain and though the first year was somewhat bearable in snow, since then they've been poor. On dry surface they roll into (vs. over) any groove in the road (think crack in the road that has been filled with tar); the tires feel like they are sinking into...

quiet, smooth ride in my roadster. The handling is excellent although I don't tend to push the limits of driving.

Would not lift the car as bmw lift blocks were missing. So jacked the car up myself in the parking lot and removed the tires. They offered no help

An all season that is good for cool weather, not summer tire performance on an EV.

For an all season tire, it is good on a dry, cool, onramp for lateral g-force, but traction loss is inevitable during medium parking lot to road acceleration in warm weather (30°C).

highly rated winter tires for EV

I usually just get the most highly rated winter tires for EV. This one is good; no problem nor negative feedback so far. Of course, it comes with a higher price tag, so take advantage of the rebates they offer.

    Not bad, better

245/45R pilot 4 on 2008 sky immediately noticed quieter and smother ride then Good year. Car easy to break rear traction mostly due to light rear end, will see what happens w/pilotswhen rods dry up and clean up.

    MANFACTURE FLAW

HAD A BUBBLE DEVELOP WHERE THE TIRE METS THE WHEEL RIM AND HAD TO REPLACE IT. THE TIRE HAD A LITTLE OVER 23,000 MILES ON IT AND CAME ON MY C8 CORVETTE STINGRAY FROM THE FACTORY. GIVEN THE PEFORMANCE OF THE C8 THIS COULD HAVE ENDED TRAGICALLY.

    Great value

These are great tires: quiet, great traction and responsiveness, very good tread life and durability. Allows me to drive with confidence in rain or snow.

    No road hazard coverage

Just bought these tires 2 months ago and didn’t realize they weren’t covered for road hazard …got a screw in front left tire that can’t be fixed…so now having to buy another tire. Will never be buying another set of tires that have no hazard coverage as an option
