Love this stuffing, it is so easy to make on the stove or in the microwave. When I make it in the microwave I dont follow their microwave direction. I put water and butter in a bowl cook for 4-5 minutes than add the stuffing mix, stir and let set 5 minutes just like the stove top direction. I know I'm about to get slack. This stuffing is so nasty. I've never liked stuffing and this ruined my childhood and adulthood Thanksgiving. My mom mixing traditional Caribbean dishes and trying to appeal to our first generation assimilation. Yeah, no! Heck No. Stop! Stuffing is mushy and gross. I will pass.

Not just for Thanksgiving, of course. I make my own dressing for Thanksgiving, and instead of buying plain bread cubes, I start with a box of Stove Top Stuffing Mix for Chicken and another of the cornbread stuffing mix. Then I add in butter, broth, celery, onions, and additional flavoring, then I bake it in the oven. In the end, I have a moist dressing that doesn't need gravy to give it flavor!

I love this stuffing. It's the best thing next to homemade. It comes in a box ready to cook. You boil the measured water, add spices or bouillon (I add chicken bouillon to everything), add a spoonful of butter, wait for the water to boil and add in the hard stuffing mix. Preperation is about three minutes total.

I actually like to buy the turkey one. I don't just buy it for Thanksgiving. I've tried a couple different brands of stuffing, but this is absolutely one hundred percent the best one! Love it. It is so good you can eat it as with nothing. For Thanksgiving I do add a couple things to just be a little extra special.

Stove Top stuffing is really the only stuffing I like. I have tried other brands but couldn't get that flavor that stove top has. I use chicken broth instead of water and sometimes I put a bit of apple sauce in it to give it that extra zing. I have heard that people also put ground up sage sausage in it for the turkey stuffing but I haven't tried it but it sounds great.

STOVE TOP is BOMB! I always keep a box or two in the pantry! It's GREAT on its own but, if you doctor it up by adding sauteed mushrooms, onions, ground pork sage sausage! I've used it as a side on TG & Easter. It's also delish in place of bread crumbs, crackers in meat loaf. It's what I use in my turkey meatloaf! I've also used it in stuffed mushrooms! Stuffed pork chops- or breading for pork chops - I pulse the box in my food processor.. or topping for mac & cheese, or stuffed zucchini.

As silly as this will sound, we only use the chicken stove top. We only use stove top for the holidays, yes, even for the turkey. It just has the best flavour story, ever. It doesn’t get mushy and turns out perfect every time. None of us like mushy stuffing, so, stove top mix for chicken it is!
