Super Purchase
Was a little rough to put together but the steel is powder coated to keep from getting too warm. It is very sturdy and the kiddos can climb, swing, do flips etc. You can move it around on the grass so no wear spots and easy mowing. Put a sprinkler under on a warm day and watch the fun. Sturdy enough for me to be able to play as well. Super purchase!!
Wow! This is amazing!
I am so impressed with how this climber turned out! I bought it for my 3 year old, but it is sturdy enough I feel okay climbing on it too. It is the perfect size and easy enough to move around (with 2 people). Assembly took the 2 of us about 3.5 hours but that was with a toddler running around. We were being extra cautious because we didn't want to have to go back and fix anything but none of the assembly was difficult. If I had to do it by myself I believe I could have but I definitely do recommend having a second person to hold pieces. I am so thrilled with this item and cant wait to really put it to use when the weather gets warmer.
Recalled SO Frustrated
Purchased this through Costco a little over a month ago. Set it up a week ago took a little while approximately 3 hours instructions were not clear about direction to put screws in as diagrams were vague and not very descriptive. My children loved it made my 4 year old son so proud when he could climb to the top and my little girl played house in it. It was prefect for our yard and due to the current situation with COVID-19 and all playground being closed we were so happy they had it to climb on. This evening received an email from Costco explaining that the manufacturer used extensive amount of Barium in the paint which can cause adverse health effects and the product has been RECALLED. We are to take it apart and dispose of the product. We were advised that we will receive a refund for the purchase. But my children have now had everything taken away school playgrounds, friends, family and now their beloved climber talk about an emotional heart break for my 2 and 4 year old kids. I now am scrambling to find something good quality to replace this as my children are going to be heart broken when I take it down, and have to throw it away. If i was told about this recall 2 weeks prior there would not have been an issue the children would not have known about it, and there would not be the emotional trauma that this will cause them. I wish Lifetime had done more prior to selling the product, for example test for the adverse chemicals in their products prior to them being sold. Just disappointed with the whole situation and really left in the dark as i am unable to speak with any sales rep. would not recommend this product obviously. also all other geo climbers are currently out of stock does not help the situation. I am currently bracing myself for a lot of tears and heart break in the coming days.

Amazing product.
The perfect complement to our Lifetime swing set. Â Same color scheme and everything. Â Easy to put together (doable by yourself, but easier with a partner). Â Sturdy. Â Holds all 240 of me without issue. Â Thoughtful placement of grips make the climbing dome safe to explore. Â Neither of my kids are bit enough to get to the top on their own, but they've both found lots of ways to climb and hang. Â A great piece of equipment to grow with. Â
Great product and great customer service!
We actually bought two of these. One for us and one for a friend. My friends was fine, but our box had a tear in it. We discovered that all of the bolts were missing. I went to customer service and looked for a way to order and purchase a new set. I bought the item with an open box, so I figured it was my fault for not double checking. I received an email the next business day stating that they shipped all new bolts for free. Wow! Not what I was expecting. They were wonderful!!
very sturdy
We just received it and my husband just finished putting it together. The instructions are not very good, but it is well worth the money and is good quality. Our grandchildren had a fit over it. One star taken away for the instructions. Four thumbs up!!!!
Love this!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this 3 years ago for Mother's Day!! It is amazing and has held up beautifully. We don't take it down for the winter, and you would never know!! It super easy to pull it around so you can mow under it...that was super important for my husband. My kids love it and are always climbing on it. I've even had my sisters who have graduated from high school climbing on it with the kids!
Great for active kids
We bought this after we noticed our kids playing on these at area playgrounds. Since we can't always go to the park this seemed like a good investment in getting our kids to go outside and play. Well it was, my kids are always playing on it, our under it. Their favorite thing to do it, is to get a bunch of huge blankets and cover it and turn it into a fort.
Confidence Builder
I bought this for my 5-year old and toddler sons. My older son has always been tentative when climbing on structures at parks. We live in a rural area, and he doesn't get much park time or much climbing practice. This climbing dome has helped him gain confidence and coordination at his own pace, without other kids crowding him, and without him feeling self-conscious about being cautious. He can climb to the top, and if it starts to feel precarious, he just hangs down from his arms and falls 8"-12" safely to the ground, landing on his feet. My toddler likes to duck in and out of the bars and go inside the structure. It has been a fun piece and a nice companion item to their Lifetime swing set. With both products I purchased, I copied assembly tips from the reviewers into a document, and gave it to my handy woman to help with assembly. For the climbing dome, she followed the alternate assembly advice from one of the reviewers, and built the main dome in about 2 hours by herself with my son handing her tools (and me helping her lift one part, just one time). Attaching the black hand holds took about another hour. My play ground equipment was the first she ever assembled, and she said it was fairly easy. So far, this is a nice, solid piece of playground equipment. My oldest son is 4' tall and weighs 58 pounds, so I was worried that the joints would start to loosen with extended play, but so far, so good! Both boys really enjoy it.
BEST OUTDOOR PLAY ITEM EVER!!!
if you are looking for a back yard play item for your kids, this is the best. Forget the swing set and slide. They are so limiting age wise and get boring!!! 3 years to about 12 years old will love this piece. They climb, sit on top of, play inside of (you can put a sheet over it and make a cave or club house. I had one at my state licensed daycare center years ago and saw first hand how great a toy it was So, when I recently needed to get something for my grand children, ages 1, 2.5 and 4, I knew this was what to get. I was correct. the two older children started climbing at once. The 1 year old would hold on to the lower bar and "hang". Cousins visited, ages 8 and 11 and they were all over it. Putting it together is the hard part. Takes 2 people and about 2-3 hours. Worth it! The free shipping to your door step can't be beat. You can easily mover it to mow under it. Seriously, the best piece of equipment ever!!
