I am so happy with this climbing dome. For the price it is an awesome buy. My 3 and 5 year old struggled to get up on it at first, but quickly figured out how to swing their leg up to climb. The frame is sturdy while still being light enough to fairly easily move around the yard. We've had the dome for six months and it still looks new.

reading the directions and following them was a joke.. as they read you started with 6 pipes 4 brown and 2 shorter green,, not right for making a circle.. after about 2 hrs of following the supplied directions and going on line and finding the same poor directions,, my son and I desided to follow the picture on the box and started from the bottom and work up... and would you belive it only took us an hour to put the dome together... my advice if you purcess this climber throw the directions out and put it together using the pictures on the box,, it will save you a lot of time... My boy's - 3 and 7 - love this climber! It's the perfect size and can comfortably accommodate several kids. This is a great alternative or addition to any traditional swing set. It did take my husband nearly 3 hours to put together so keep that in mind but overall assembly was fairly easy. Like other people have mentioned, we did not tighten the final bolts until everything was put together.

The climbing dome is fantastic and definitely suitable for the backyard. Big enough to accommodate many kids and not too big to create an obscene eyesore in your backyard. It was relatively easy to put together. The instructions were good and easy to follow. It took me 3.5 hours but that was because I attempted most of it by myself - not a great idea. You do need an extra set of hands to put this together and keep your sanity at the same time. I bought this for my son for his 5th birthday and he absolutely loves it. So do 10 other kids from the neighborhood - ranging from ages 2 to 10. They climb on it, in it, over it, through it, around it and love just hanging out eating their popsicles under the dome. Also - i bought it "site to store" and it came in many days earlier than estimated.

For those interested in the Lifetime 66-Inch Climbing Dome I highly suggest following the installation tutorial on Lifetime's YouTube page (extremely helpful). I was able to build the entire dome by myself in a few hours. There were some moments of frustration but if you follow the YouTube tutorial closely you shouldn't have too many issues. My 3 year old and 8 year old love the geodome and have been playing on it daily the past week. The dome is bigger than I anticipated... my 3 year old is only comfortable climbing up to the first row of bars so if you are considering this for kids younger than 4 maybe go with the smaller size geodome.

This Dome climber is an excellent choice for keeping the kids busy while at home. outstanding build quality and was very easy to put together and move around. be prepared you will need another tall adult or teen to help you out due to its size. I cant say enough about this product. the test of time will yield if it can withstand the elements weather wise that is. it handles the kids all 3 of them without issue. looks great as well! a must...

My husband was able to put this together by himself. Everything went together great and the parts were clearly identified. He did get to the end and had to replace the nuts with another kind provided in the package (this could have been operator error). My 4 year old and her friends play and swing all over this and they love it. Great value and would definitely recommend it!

A friend gave us a Lifetime climbing dome when they moved out of town. Great product. One of the hand holds broke upon re-assembly. Lifetime replaced the hand hold free of charge. Their response was very quick and professional. The quality of service one expects, but seldom sees these days.

We just purchased the Lifetime Dome Climber for our son's 5th birthday. We got it shipped for free, never thinking there might be a picture on the box. It turned into an early birthday present when he saw the box on the porch. He couldn't wait for Dad to finish assembling it. Assembly was very straight forward. The product is solid and well made. Our boy was sad that he couldn't climb on the inside ...just not strong enough yet...but he will build upper body strength playing on the dome and will be able to climb up on the inside in no time. We play ball with it and I am sure we will find many other uses for it. Our 2 year old is not tall enough to use it yet; but he enjoys crawling under and playing inside the dome - when his brother is not on top.

The dome did take a while to get here, but there is a pandemic going on after all. When we received the package it took my husband only an hour to out it together. All of the pieces were there, the directions were clear, and my three kids ages 8 and under love it! Its a great product and seems like it will stand the test of time in our Maine weather.
