The directions were terrible! There has got to be a better way to assemble this thing! My husband and I did it ourselves and you have to connect and reconnect parts and the parts are not labeled clearly enough nor were the directions clear enough. The bags need to be labeled for each screw type better. We love it now that it is together but I truly dread ever having to move and/or take it apart again!

Bigger than I thought, but good. Was a pain to put together. We missed a crucial step (repeat this step 4x) that was in small print at bottom of page. So we were stumped on directions for about 45 min. Went quicker after realizing and backtracking. Took about 3 hours with me and hubby. I wanted something that all 3 of our kids could use (ages 12, 6 and 2). Our 2 and a half year old doesn't get the full use of it like my older kids too since she can only hang on lower bars and climb under, but it fits the bill. They can even use like a fort/jail. Need at least 2 to move for mowing lawn. Great alternative for swing set.

My daughter loves it! We bought it for her birthday. My dad and I put it together in roughly an hour and a half. We have experience with tools and building things, so time will vary. The dome is very sturdy once the final tightening is done. My brother weighs around 230 lbs. He climbed to the top and nothing moved at all. I really like the finish on the metal as well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

reading the directions and following them was a joke.. as they read you started with 6 pipes 4 brown and 2 shorter green,, not right for making a circle.. after about 2 hrs of following the supplied directions and going on line and finding the same poor directions,, my son and I desided to follow the picture on the box and started from the bottom and work up... and would you belive it only took us an hour to put the dome together... my advice if you purcess this climber throw the directions out and put it together using the pictures on the box,, it will save you a lot of time... The 66" dome is LARGE and heavy, make sure you understand the space required before you purchase. So far it has been great for our 6 yo, 3 yo growing into it - he can't quite climb it yet but I expect he will have it mastered by the end of the month. Climbing dome took me about two hours to assemble from start to finish by myself. A socket wrench is definitely helpful and makes the job quick. Highly recommend watching the assembly video first and closely studying the diagram of pole order as I had to fix a few mistakes along the way. Fully assembled the structure is very heavy but I can still move (drag) it around our yard for mowing purposes.

We ordered both the Big Stuff Swing Set and Climbing Dome together. Both were shipped together and both were confirmed as delivered together but in reality only the swing set arrived. I called Lifetime and was on hold for thirty minutes before connecting with a human. The rep I spoke with recommended I call the freight company directly as she would have to “jump through a lot of hoops” and it would take some time. I called the freight company directly and they confirmed our delivery came up short per their manifest. They said they would try to track it down across the three different hubs it passed through on its way to us. All told it took about an hour on the phone with two different companies. Who wants to do that? The following day Lifetime called and confirmed the dome had gone missing. They offered to resend it but it would take over a month in a best case scenario as it’s back ordered. I requested they cancel the order and credit us the funds, which I was told would take several weeks. I get wait times are long nowadays and things get lost but I was so disappointed that no apology or regret was conveyed. Maybe I expected better customer service ordering from an American company but a simple “we’re really sorry this happened” would have gone a long way.

Relatively easy to assemble although directions were somewhat ambiguous. Once started, though, it was rather intuitive. It took my son and me about 2 1/2 hours to assemble. It seems very sturdy and well-constructed. We were able to easily lift it and move it around to find best location but this is not to hint that it is flimsy because it is just the opposite. We're both big strong guys.

Great, inexpensive dome. Good for littles to mid bigs. Paid a small fortune for delivery to Hawaii, but they did actually deliver here. Despite promises on other sites, and indeed 'dome climbers.com' holding our money for 8 weeks prior to refunding, and then with no communication as to an apology, Walmart came through. Thank you Walmart!!

I was a bit afraid at the thought of putting this together myself - but it came together great, is VERY sturdy, my 5 year old AND my 17 year old both love this climber....and it can do double duty as a fort, the "jail" in games, a secret place, etc....the directions could be a bit more clear, but overall I actually put it together myself...and yes, I am a female. Putting it together with 2 people would be easier though :-) Great value, great toy, should provide fun for years to come - better than the typical swing/slide scenario.

Our grandson absolutely loves this thing!! However, it is definitely a 2 to 3 person job for assembly, but not overly difficult. Just an FYI, While our almost 4 1/2 yr old grandson can us it (with some difficulty), it is impossible for our two and three-year-olds to even get on it.
