Got my generator installed on October 22. I have lost power 4 times between then and may of 22. Worked great every time. My only complaint is that you pay a lot of money for these units and you shouldn't have to pay a monthly fee to get access to the app. Generac should include the app free with the unit

Recommended by family and friends for our new home in southeastern Louisiana. This whole home backup generator is a great investment for piece of mind, when power outages will occur during hurricane season. Not looking forward to dealing with these storms, but knowing that we have this is one less thing to have to worry about. I purchased a 22KW whole house Generac one year ago. It starts up every Tuesday for 15 minutes for lubrication and battery charge. You don't even notice that. The power has gone out three times and the transfer switch works so fast you don't even know the power went out for a split second that the only electrical device that needs resetting is the microwave. I don't have to reset a dozen or so clocks. Live in the boonies near the Olympic National forest where wind damage to trees and power poles knock out power for up to 3 days at a time. Now I don't have to worry. General also has the best people they recommend to install the equipment. That is a big plus. Thanks Generac for making our lives better and safer!

I live way out in the sticks so when the power goes out, we are the last ones to get the power restored. I have the 22KW whole home system. This is the best investment I’ve ever made, by far! Our power goes out a few times a year and sometimes it’s out for 7 or more days. About 2 weeks ago, we were hit with high winds and thousands if people were without power, but NOT US! The outage lasted for 6 days and we never knew it was off in the first place. When the power goes out, it takes the generator 20 seconds to start up and it never shuts off until the power is restored. In those 6 days, it used 105 gallons of natural gas, but it was worth every single penny. If you’re thinking about buying one, just do it. I promise, you won’t regret it!!

We are very pleased with our 22 kw whole house generator. Our subdivision has overhead lines and we lose power a lot. The automatic switch over makes it so much easier than our old portable version. Perkins staff were all knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. They discussed all our options and configurations for our home.

Very impressed with our new unit. We bought a Generac for peace of mind. We live in the woods and power outages are the norm. Now we do not have to worry. I love the look of the Generac, it blends into the house so it does not stand out too much. And it is relatively quiet. Very happy

Have lost power four times in the last twelve months due to trees falling on utility lines and taking power out. Decided to purchase a whole house backup generator and after researching products, chose the Generac 22kw. It has a quick response as soon as power loss is detected, can supply power to run heat in the winter and air conditioning in the summer, City inspector said the installation was first class and was impressed with running of power cable from electrical box to the generator’s location on the opposite side of the house near the gas meter. Natural gas connection was anchored with multiple safety cut offs of the gas for safety, if needed.. WiFi monitoring allows instant update on status of the generator. The generator is the lifeline to the house and annual maintenance provides peace of mind and assurance the generator is ready to go when needed. Great investment for our home and our lifestyle.

Recently installed 22K generator on new residential construction and finalized hookup with electrician and plumber on July 1. When I asked if they were going to get it set up they both said they just install their part and said to call Generac. I called customer support this morning, July 2 and when I told this wonderful lady what I needed, she said we can do this over the phone. We registered the unit and she was very professional in getting the information and where to find it. I then went outside to the generator and she walked me thru the set up in a matter of minutes. She then reminded me if I need anything else, we're here for you 24/7. What a great experience and greater customer service. Hats off to Generac for this outstanding customer service representative.

We lose power a lot in our rural area that we reside. Kelly's Electrical Service, LLC is our local dealer in McBee S.C. and came quickly to install our Generac.
