Great Product for the whole house

This is the second 22KW generator that I have purchased. The first one was over 5 years ago and performed flawlessly. I remember one Christmas season the power went out and we were the only ones on the street who had their outdoor lights on. The new unit for our current house is great and I liked that they were able to fit the transfer switch inside our house. Great product and terrific installers.

South Florida Ready July 2020

After living through Wilma and all the other hurricanes that have hit South Florida, I finally said enough is enough. I purchased the Generac 22K and had it professionally installed. We did the test run, and everything worked without fail. We turned on every appliance and could not tell I was on generator power. Solid product and I am sure this is going to reduce a lot of anxiety during the next storm. The way 2020 is going I am sure a hurricane will be coming our way. I had to call the Generac customer support line for assistance with the app and getting connection and the support staff are awesome. So, Generac hits a home run, great product and great people.

Awesome!

We had to wait a year for this generator to be installed but are so happy with it. It was put to good use less than a week after install when a storm went through and power was out for about 18 hours. All our neighbors were jealous as it was in the 90's. Most of all it gives you peace of mind that if you are out of town or traveling that everything continues to run while you are away, especially if you live where there are freezing temps in the winter.

Great Installation by Lee Legler

Our Generac dealer and install crew was Lee Legler Construction & Electric, Yorkville, IL. Lee, Terry, Mia and Lee's installation crew were a pleasure to do business with. Lee's crew were very easy to deal with and was very professional, very detailed and thorough. From what I have been told is Lee and his crew install one Generac every day of the week. They were on time and immediately got to work with our installation. Very patiently explained how the transfer switch worked and cleaned up everything when done. I can absolutely recommend this business for your purchase and installation.

Excellent performance so far.

Dealer did an excellent job installing generator, linking together two transfer switches due to two CB panels, and balancing CB panel loads. Had to dig two trenches due to location of LP tank and service entrance with respect to generator location. Connections and startup were normal. Only problems encountered were delay in obtaining generator delivery from factory and weather due to hurricanes Harvey and Irma. Generator picked up whole house load with no problem. Ran weekly self test today right on schedule.

Great Protection all year round

We love our whole house generator so now we don't have to worry about being without power. We upgraded the WIFI feature to cellular service for WIFI so that we don't even have to rely on our home WIFI. The warranty on the generator is great and gives us lots of peace of mind. If something goes wrong , the company can look at the generator remotely at any time and diagnosis the problem quickly. Great Product and highly recommended.

Quiet, reliable, and discreet

We ordered a 10 kW Guardian to provide 24-hour emergency power to our home in midcoast Maine. With WiFi capability, remote monitoring by the installer, and automatic activation at regular intervals to keep its internal parts and processes "well-oiled," this is a great unit. The first couple of times it came on we were largely unaware it was operating...and it is right outside our kitchen window. Now, if I can only find a buyer for the portable Generac we no longer need!

Generac Whole House Generator

Operation is smooth and quiet

One week after installation we lost power and my Generac engaged within 20 seconds and ran for the next four hours. This unit runs smoothly and quietly. Simple design blends nicely with my house. Looking forward its reliability this coming winter. Would recommend installation for any home for the piece of mind it gives.

All GREAT - except Mobile Link

Very pleased with the functionality and protection provided by this generator. Mobile Link needs to be improved. I lost Mobile Link connection one day after installation. I went through the reconnect process probably 20 times over the next several days (I can now do this in my sleep). I had many conversations with the installing dealer, tried calling the Mobile Link hotline……I installed a WiFi extender, which showed connectivity consistently over 60%. But I kept getting the error message (on the APP) that connection was lost. I went to the generator and it showed connected at 60%. So I kind of gave up on the whole process. Then magically one day it started working (on its own) and still works as of now. I actually LOVE the features of Mobile Link when it works. I recently noticed in my activity log that “Firmware updated, boot to Auto” was apparently done recently - on the same day my Mobile Link started working consistently. I assume this fixed my problem, hopefully for good. So as of today I am 100% satisfied……after some initial frustration.
