I had my 22kw whole home generator installed 12/8/2016 and now I have no fear of an extended power outage. This is the time of the year that we have most of our inclement weather and the forecasts don't seem to bother me at all now. The installation process could not have gone any smoother. The whole generator is smaller than my outside central ac unit. Thanks for a great product.

In our former home, we had a 20kw Generac Guardian. In our new home, we now have the 22kw model and it is even quieter that our previous unit. Plus, we have the the Cold Weather Kit. Our older generator never failed to start, although sometimes it did crank a time or two before "kicking over." With the Cold Weather Kit, I now can sleep with both eyes closed. Tom M.

We installed this generator in December 2015 and it has performed great. We live in the country in Nebraska and being without power for several days in the winter or summer is bad. We have our whole house wired into the generator so when the power goes off our generator kicks in. I also installed UPS systems on our Satellite TV, wireless router and televisions. When the power goes off our televisions and Internet are not effected and the generator keeps them charged. It's a great generator and adds value to your home.

22KW generator installed two months ago. Working perfectly. in fact two days ago the power went out and the generator came up and supplied power immediately. About an hour later power was restored and generator shut down. Shortly thereafter it started again for its weekly test run. We are very happy with this generator.

Have had this unit for 2 years and other than testing for 5 minutes once a week, it has run once for less than 10 seconds. It gives us the security of knowing, if and when we need it, it will work! The BUT is it is LOUD. Regardless of what you are told, your neighbors are going to know when it is testing. Not sure how Generac can address it, but hopefully they will come up with a solution to damping the noise on future models. Bottomline, we love the security it gives us and highly recommend this unit.

We just had generator installed yesterday 11-2-20 by Beacon Power Systems out of Saucier, MS. Corey, Billy & Reece were the installers, they did a fantastic job with the set up. It took them 6 hours to install. On that, my neighbor had a Kohler generator installed, it took them 3 days and still had to come back because it would not work. Billy the electrician sure knew his trade. After the installation, Corey went over the operations of the generator with me, he was very thorough. This crew was very professional, and I would highly recommend them.

The generator surprised us the first time the weekly 10-minute automatic "exercise" mode turned on, but since then we hardly notice it. The box itself is not bad looking, and seems secure; I like that it locks shut. We've had no power outages (knock on wood), so we haven't really used it yet, but it does provide a peace of mind that we didn't have before.

This is the 3rd generator that we have purchased. When you live in a rural area with a farm, keeping water, lights, etc. is extremely important. With each relocation over the last 20 years, we are insistent that a Generac generator be installed. We depend on being able to continue 'as normal' in all conditions. The generator has really been a great selling point for previous homes as well.

I had the unit installed less then a year ago. Installation team at Powerton/Lebanon were terrific. Everything worked good on test cycles but the unit had not been tested until just few days ago. The power went out due to a wind storm for a few days. The unit did EXACTLY as promised. I came home to find that it had started automatically and ran for 3 + days without any problems. We were able continue on with life as normal. I would highly recommend to anyone who is considering it.
