Installed just four days before Hurricane Irma impacted our area, our new Generac 22KW generator performed flawlessly, keeping us in touch (TV, internet), comfortable (heat), and well fed (stove, oven, refrigerators and freezers). No one wants to lose power, but when it happens it's so comforting to know the Genereac will support all our needs!

I just had my Generac generator installed yesterday. What a relief to know we are now fully covered in the event of another power outage. I had a Generac portable unit for years, however with the last two power outages I was unable to purchase gas. Now we are no longer in need of gas as I have propane supply to last numerous days of constant run.

Recommended by family and friends for our new home in southeastern Louisiana. This whole home backup generator is a great investment for piece of mind, when power outages will occur during hurricane season. Not looking forward to dealing with these storms, but knowing that we have this is one less thing to have to worry about. The generator has performed flawlessly each time we have lost power. It's a great source of comfort knowing we have this backup at the ready. We were concerned in advance about how loud it might be, based on some neighbors machines, but our Generac is considerably quieter than we thought it would be.

This is our second whole home generator. We upgraded our home and chose to upgrade our Generac, and so glad we did! Love the Wi-Fi Feature, it's so quiet, and safety features are a bonus. Shortly after install, our power was out for over 12 hours, on a hot summer day, however, our Generac powered right up. If you live in the country or have someone with medical concerns that make it difficult to move them from place to place, don't go another day without getting one installed!

Very pleased with our 20kw generac. We live in a rural area where we have saw power outages last up till two weeks. This generator gives us peace of mind with all out deep freezers full of meat. Runs our whole house just fine. I would recommend anyone that can afford one to go ahead and get one. I have wanted one for years just hated to spend the money for it. Was money well spent when im away at work and the power is off with a family is hard. Not anymore i can montior it right from my phone and look at the status. Family can carry on just like the power isnt off. Dont let anyone cut any corners on installation make them do quality work and everything will be safe. Thanks Generac!

As a single mom of two youngsters in CT, after the storms and snow we’ve had here the last few years, I had to consider a backup power source when we moved into our “new” 45 yr old home last year. My primary concerns were the safety/comfort of my kids and keeping the sump pump in the basement powered. Yes, a portable generator is much less expensive - but having the 22kW generator with whole house switch is EFFORTLESS. Just tonight, I sat through dinner with my kids as the power went out due to high winds from a nor’easter - within seconds everything came back on and I didn’t have to worry about anything. Power was just restored 10 minutes ago and transferred seamlessly back and the generator shut itself off. I am so thrilled with this generator, and proud of myself for investing in it, that I felt compelled to write a review. Let power outages be one less thing you worry about!

We added this 22kw unit when we built an addition on the house. No more running drop cords or dealing with the issues of running a portable generator. This unit runs the entire house during a power outage, automatically. The Mobile Link feature also keeps me informed of it's operation no matter where I am. Highly recommend this product!

We needed a backup generator for our home, and when the power was out we were happy to hear it hum. However, after the first use of this product it broke down and the wires were fried. After consulting with customer service, they said the warranty wouldn’t cover it, they blamed lightning for causing the problem. Then they sent a bill to cover the diagnostic cause even though we already knew what the problem was. I would not recommend using their services at all, unless you want poor quality coverage and usage.
