Altho just rice with a flavor pack, the flavor is terrific. And vegetarian which is a rare treat with Sams. They don't even mention it can be microwaved but try 3 minutes full power of rice in water, then add flavor pack and 30% power for about 15 min. I add a bit of tomato sauce at the end which takes the edge off the saltiness.

Price is creeping up like all things at sams club including gas. Used to go out of my way to go there but not anymore.

Specifically purchased for Alaskan backpacking camping trip as details state “cooks in 5 min”. Closer to 30 min.

This brand uses its natural and artificial flavoring with a U.S. patent HEK293 produced by Senomyx, San Diego California. Look it up if you don’t know.
