Performance of tires

As of now we are satisfied with these tires I’m just waiting to see how many miles and the wear goes if everything is kept up like we balanced and rotate on time and the alignment

after they took all the tires out and ready to install the new ones, the guy came and said, we have a problem we cant balance the tires because we don't have the sticking leads to put in the rim, we can put the new tires but you need to go to another store to balance the tires, so with no other options that's what I did, once I was in the other store I approached the desks and explained what was the problem, and immediately the guy told, we can do it but you have to pay, I tried to explain that I already paid the whole installation and that I was ther because I was instructed to come here to balanced my new tires, it wasn't until I call the previous store and put this guy to talk to the other worker that they agree to do the balance, s...

We're good, but not for long.....

Have a pair of these on the front of a Camaro. Tires were good at first, but have developed a bad steering wheel shake @ 55MPH, have had balance twice, with no change. I was informed that one of them has a separated belt causing the wheel shake. Tires still have 8/32 and will have to replaced, disappointed ☹️.

Excellent all around daily race tire

Very good tire grip great and have decent life for how good the traction is lasted about 3years hard driving. These are comp tires meaning very soft and lots of grip which means they will not last as long as other harder tires. If you want daily tires for all year and all condition racing get these if you want a daily tire to replace the crap ones on your 100hp civic do not get these youll just cry they wear out faster than the junk hockypuck tires your used to.

    Excitement!!!

I purchased a set of G-force a/s tires for my 2015 Dart Rally. WOW! I'm so impressed with the handling. Wet or dry the car stays tight in corners. After 1,689 miles the tires are still like new and still quiet. First tire I ever bought that I was truly excited about. Oh, and the price is right.

Look no Further! These tires are it!!!

I purchased a set of tires for my 2013 Mazdaspeed 3 back in November 2019. I got 35,000 miles out of them! Ive had the Continental DWS, Michelin Pilot A/S and Dunlop. I decided to go with my second set of BFG COMP-2 A/S! I absolutely love these tires, more importantly these tires have my TRUST!

    Best I’ve ever owned

I’ve owned several sets of these for my 85 and 86 Mustang with aftermarket 16 inch rims. Traction in the snow has always been an issue for these cars and not anymore with these tires. I was heartbroken to find out from my tire store my size has been discontinued, 245/50/R16. Performance 16” A/S tires ant near impossible to find.

    Superior performance in wet conditions

This review comes 3 months into owning these tires. 225 front, 255 rear. Of the premium tires I have owned over 15 years, these are hands down the best on wet roads. Even under semi aggressive steering and highway speeds, they preformed beyond my expectations. I live in the Southern US and can only speak for performance in torrential downpours. No first hand feedback for reliability on snow.

These tires are dangerous don’t buy!

I’ve had one blowout that destroyed everything. This tire was a year old only put 7116 miles on it. The one on the rear has three or 4 bubbles on the inside. Twice they have just gone flat and developed bubbles on the inner side wall when filled back up.

    Bad balancing, out of round.

All four of these tires are out of round after just 10k miles or so. Cannot balance even with tons of weight. I confirmed it's a tire issue by installing these tire on two sets of wheels, both sets of wheels yielded the same results on two separate balancers at two shops as well.

    Best For The Money!

Having run three sets of G-Force COMP-2 A/S since late 2016 on my 2013 Ford Focus ST, my review will be about that previous version of this tire and not the new "PLUS" model, which, coincidentally, I'm about to get a new set of. The COMP-2 A/S replaced the OEM tires on my Focus ST and totally transformed the way it drove, and in nothing but GOOD ways! Much better grip in the dry and wet, and alleviated the need for snow tires unless things got really nasty. For my Focus ST and driving style (Spirited), I've found the COMP-2 A/S will last a good two years in daily driving duties if mounted new in November or December, so you have maximum tread depth for the first Winter and driving in the snow. After Winter is over, I don't rotate th...

    Upgrade

I bought these in stock sizing 255/40R19 for my 2014 Mustang GT. They replaced the OEM Pirelli P-Zero of the same size. I have to say these BFGs are excellent. There's a marked improvement in performance all across the spectrum. I highly recommend these tires.

    Exceeded expectations

Bought these back in January or February. For starters, they were great in the snow and I couldn’t expect anything more from tires that aren’t winter tires because they exceeded my expectations in that department. Next, they are great in dry weather driving, I do not drive easily and like to take corners at high speeds and the tires work together with my car flawlessly to not disappoint. I have yet to slide or lose traction in any manner in rain. Yes, they wear a bit quickly (but honestly not even that quickly), but you’re getting a great tire for the price. Also, the grippier the tires, the quicker they wear, so don’t complain about tread wear on ultra high performance tires. You just look goofy lol. There’s a nice donut media video on ...

    Great tires

I bought these tires through Costco for my 2015 Camry. My tires were the original Bridgestone Turanza EL400-2s that came with the car. It was 7 years old and was starting to have some minor dry rot issues. But I remember the times when they were brand new. These Comp-2 A/S Plus is a big step over the Turanza. The response is better, better traction in rain. Turanza was horrible in rain and snow. Haven't driven the Comp-2s in snow as I moved from the Mid-west. But I think they should be ok. Also the ride is now firm, but not hard. Just the right level of stiffness. Very happy with the purchase. The Turanza had almost 4/32nd thread left after 44000 miles. This one seems to have a lower UTQG rating for wear compared to the Turanza. Will have t...

Good traction and wear for a higher performance 40 series tire

I bought them 3 years ago. The Goodrich's wear very well and have decent traction for an all season higher performance tire. I thought the price was very reasonable. I think they ride relatively hard. I did go from Michelin Pilot Sport's to the BFGoodrich. The Michelin's are known to ride and handle wonderful but they were wearing out every 13,000-15,000 miles. The Michelin's cost is also more than doubled that of the Goodrich. I have to say, I did buy new Pilot Sport 4S Super Sport for my Audi RS6. Supposedly they now provide 35,000 miles of wear. Since BFGoodrich is now owned by Michelin, all of the money is going to France. I have had a lot of fun several times in France including a couple 24H Le Man's and GP Monoco. I'm hopi...

    Cadillac XT4 AWD

I bought a set of these tires today and they handle nicely. We live in the California Mountains where we have windy mountain roads, get ice and snow in the winter. We needed an all season tire that would check all of the boxes. While we haven't had a chance to try it out in winter conditions yet, but we expect these tires to meet our needs. No growl or vibration issues that we seen in other reviews, They were installed on a 2019 Cadillac XT4 AWD SUV. I will add a comment after first snow.

    Great All-Season Tire

I purchased this tire for my 2014 Scion FR-S after reviewing Consumer Reports. It is listed as an ultra high performance all-season tire and it really delivered in the snow. I did not want to own two sets of tires and the FR-S is my daily driver. They performed well on a snowy day, the bottom of the car was brushing against the unplowed road. In the summer they offer great grip and the sidewalls have really good stability. The sidewall of the tire looks different but it does to give stiffness to prevent blowout on low profile.

    So far great

I have put 1000 miles on the tires and they are great so far. The ride is good cant wait to see how they do in the snow and long term. I like the look of these tires, just hope they last as long as the Goodyear tires they replaced.

    Great tires

Great tire. I have used BFG tires on my Mustang Cobra since 1996. Overall these tires are as good or better than the prior tires (which were awesome).

    Perform well

I've only put about 600 miles on these tires. Their wet and dry performance is quite good. The sidewall feels nice and stiff. The only drawback so far appears to be a noticeable drop in gas mileage.
