after they took all the tires out and ready to install the new ones, the guy came and said, we have a problem we cant balance the tires because we don't have the sticking leads to put in the rim, we can put the new tires but you need to go to another store to balance the tires, so with no other options that's what I did, once I was in the other store I approached the desks and explained what was the problem, and immediately the guy told, we can do it but you have to pay, I tried to explain that I already paid the whole installation and that I was ther because I was instructed to come here to balanced my new tires, it wasn't until I call the previous store and put this guy to talk to the other worker that they agree to do the balance, s...

I upgraded to 17x9 Year One Rally II wheels and installed these 275/40R 17 Conp TA AS. I wanted a tire that looked good and performed well in wet and dry conditions. I have had many BFGs over the years and thought that these would be the right pick. This survey doesn't even go back to the year my Pontiac is, :( . I had to pick the oldest year listed.
Best choice for my Formula 455.

I originally purchased these for my BMW 328i (w/ M-sport suspension) in 2018. Such a fantastic tire that when the rears started to wear, I repurchased the COMPs. The fronts are now due for replacement (after 29,000 mi), and I will buy these without hesitation. They are an excellent performance tire, a great highway tire (comfortable), and yes, they will handle some light snow that we get here in northern Texas. They feel more like a Summer High Performance tire than an All-Season tire. The local tire dealer tried to talk me out of them this time, but I am super loyal to this tire (even though I don't really need an all-season here in Texas; and even though I wanted to try the BF Goodrich Ph...

Have had balance/ rotation completed twice in 8 months. Does not help. Tire prices have gone up very high, so to have a tire with great tread left but so noisy it is hard to bear is unacceptable.

I was told not to buy name brand as there’s better tires out there. The warranty with all the fine print may as well not exist (I’m being told “don’t hold your breath”) these tire are on a summer cruiser and not abused.

With all of the information out there do your research. I have so much driving confidence in these for dry and heavy rain conditions. I have not experienced any snow driving since they were purchased in June. I still have 7/32mm of tread left. Rotate your tires every 6,000 miles for maximum tread life.

I have not been able to test them in wet weather yet but I am hopeful they will meet my expectations. My only negative about the tire is the sidewall design; specifically where the tread fades into the sidewall. This part of the tire looks like it should be on an off-road vehicle not a a performance car. I have the previous version of this tire on my 2002 TransAm and the aestheric portion of the design is much more appropriate than the newer iteration of the same tire. Overall, I am still very pleased with these tires.

The car was aligned prior to tire install and rechecked again today when I went in for a rotation and it was in spec. The rears are according to the shop due for replacement. The tires look great on the car and they are only mildly noisy. The grip is good. I have little experience in any kind of weather with these due to the short period of time they have been on my car. I'm hoping the manufacturer steps up as I am working with the shop who sold me these to get these returned under warrantee.

Driving in the rain is almost like driving in the sunshine. I am excited for winter as I expect them to perform just as well, please don't ever stop making these tires as they have made me a bfgoodrich customer for life and as long as these tires are made I will purchase them every time

Better handling and braking in the wet and dry than the Bridgestones. Less understeer (better turn in) than the Bridgestone as well. I really enjoyed them but they get progressively noisier as the miles add up. I would give them 5 stars if not for the distinct "rumbling" sound they generate.
