The pedestal makes it much easier to load and unload the washer and dryer. One draw back to the pedestal drawer is the it is too shallow to close if you put the large bottles of soap and bleach in the drawer. So, the increased height of the washer and dryer is a plus, the shallow drawer is not very useful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered 2 pedestals and was looking forward to use basket to store detergent and softener in it. I got them so we would stop using top of appliances for storage. Well what a shock. Arrived today- and none of the standard detergents or softeners or even spray bottles fit in it. Now I have tall appliances , can not have cabinets above it and useless pedestals underneath it. Created more problems then solution. All they need extra 2 inches! What are they good for, just small junk? I would not spend that much money for storing unimportant things under. I guess they only design for a huge laundry rooms where people have to much space and storage, and extra money for the shiny box. So disappointed:(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The drawers are not deep enough to put soaps, spray bottles, etc. also the basket is very inconvenient, and wish this came with a drawer divider. Without the basket in the drawer, some bottles can stay standing in the drawer, otherwise, these drawers are not good storage for your laundry products.

The order included free install and haul away for the washer and dryer but magically did not include free install for the pedestals and had to pay the third-party freight/install company out of pocket to get the pedestals installed. Terrible experience.

I really like the 2 LG pedestal storage drawers. They have plenty of room to store laundry and cleaning supplies. I particularly like the removable baskets. It makes it so easy to empty the dryer contents right into the basket. As an added bonus, they make the washer and dryer higher so I don't have to bend to do the laundry or to find that missing sock.

I purchased pedestals for my lg ThinQ washer and dryer. None of the standard plastic bottles of liquid detergents(Tide, Cheer)nor softeners(Tide,Dwony) fit inside the compartments. And it’s not like the machines weren’t designed to use these liquids. What’s a consumer suppose to do? What a rip-off!

I’ve had the LG all in one washer/dryer unit for approximately 3 weeks.  I absolutely love it!  We are a busy family and this unit has been such a time saver for us.  I love that I can fill the detergent and fabric softener and it will automatically dispense the amounts needing for the size laundry load.  I’ve also found that I can do larger loads of laundry after fully reading the instruction on how to properly place my laundry into the machine.  This also insures that my laundry is fully dry at the end of the cycle; it also helped with our laundry from being as wrinkled.  And my top feature is the keep fresh, it will keep your laundry smelling fresh if you forget your laundry in the unit which happens at my home often!  The LG app has also been very helpful.  Having a QR code on the machine was very helpful in connecting the unit to the LG app.  Once one the app you can change settings,  see how much time is remaining ,  change the detergent and fabric softer amounts if you don’t want the automatic setting.  Overall I am extremely pleased with the unit as well as the LG app.

I never had the pedestal feature before and I didn't know what I was missing. I am not tall, but the pedestal feature makes doing laundry so much more enjoyable. I hated having to get on my knees for a front loader before. And the extra storage is awesome to boot!

Whoever designed this never even tried to put any bottles or containers for laundry soap, Bleach, or Fabric softener in the drawers. How these made it to production is beyond me. If you see a display in store, try it first to see if anything you would normally store for doing laundry will fit before buying. Absolutely useless space under the washer and dryer. Unbelievable....

Doesn't fit a brand-new LG washer. I bought a brand new washer and dryer and then these pedestals as well. They are the correct pedestal for my new washer Model:WM6500HWA, but the holes don't line up unless you take the feet off the washer and remove one of the nuts. This is a complete pain given the washer is heavy and you don't discover this until you lift the thing onto the pedestal. I thought I was going crazy until I found several online with the exact same complaint. How does something like this pass QC? I just can't imagine why LG would make something like this that doesn't fit their own appliance. Either make the holes on the washer connection lower or raise these.
