We got our first set on a used vehicle, we drove it all the time in all kinds of weather and had no issues! The tires we had on our other vehicles were wearing out and dry rotted within the 1st year of having them. We were replacing them all the time and theses Michelin tires kept on going and going like the energizer bunny. So we said enough is enough and we replaced the rest of the cars with Michelin tires too. Lets just say the tires out lived the cars. So now that is the only tire we look at and will buy. And we will make sure our kids do the samething. So what ever you are putting in that tire Michelin don't change a thing, it is perfect.

These tires are used on an AWD Vehicle year round. There is essentially no road noise from the tires and they just wear and wear and wear with no unusual problems having been encountered. Most trouble free tires I've owned. So good that I use Michelin Tires on three (3) vehicles. Two SUV's and one (1) full Size Passenger Car. I have the mtx m/s and use them on my GMC 4/4. These tires will exceed treadlife specified. Mine have 60,000 on them and still some left butt will probably buy new ones before winter. Very good on wet roads without hydroplaning. They plow through snow and have never gotten hung up or skidded even during the ice storm. The only negative thought I have is they are a little above average in road noise butt not a problem. I just bought a set of defender series tires for my sons Accord. He likes his tires more than his girlfriend! He is hooked on Michelin tires just like me. I will never again buy any tire other than Michelin. Worth every penny!

This is honestly the best LT truck tire ever. My most recent set lasted over 90K miles without losing any performance at all. They cost slightly more then the competition but last twice as long so when I finally needed to replace them I didn't even consider buying another tire.

First accumulating snow in Michigan 2013. From the trip in, to the trip home with new tires; these new LTX m/s made a world of a difference. The sure grip was very noticeable. No where near the slip and slide at stopping or acceleration. Good choice of tires on my Explorer.

I had a 98 Dodge Ram extended cab and the rear never slid when starting or stopping. Also did great in 4X4m mode with extremely wet pavement and snow. No hydroplanning. Always felt like the tires were truly on the road. Now have 05 Silverado and plan to get the same tires for it.

I have been a faithfull customer of Michelin tires since i can remenber. my dad always told me that they were the best for yor money and he was right. i just recently bought my second set of 4 Michelin LTX M/S tires for my truck. Now my wife likes them too, that she will not have me purchase any other brand. good job michelin. keep it up

I been switching out the OEM tires on my new Chevy Silverado's to Michelin immediately after purchasing a new truck for over a decade. Every feature of them makes the truck more enjoyable to drive. They settle the vibration which then quiets the interior of the vehicle. I get longer longevity and the peace of mind knowing I have a quality tire that withstands the Arizona heat and horrible roads is a bonus!

I've had these tires for a couple of months now. The wet and dry handling and braking are excellent, similar to that of the Michelin Premier LTXs that were on the car previously. I hear a slight bit more road noise, and I feel more road imperfections with these Defenders than with the Premiers. But I believe that's because these Defenders have a more aggressive tread design and a longer-wearing (firmer) tread compound than the Premiers. That should mean that the Defenders will have better performance in the snow, and they should last longer; two traits I look forward to experiencing.

I am now on my second set of these tires and will buy them again in another 8 years if I still have my RAV4. I had over 86,000 miles on the first set and only replaced them after the combination of extreme dryness, cold and heat in AZ caused the sidewall to crack. Amazingly, there was still quite a bit of tread left on the tires. Expensive, yes, but definitely worth every penny!
