Horrible experience. returning

Bought today from Sam’s. Unpackaged and set up (should have saved myself a lot of time by TRYING it before doing all that..learned my lesson). Pulled up a movie to play ready to hear my new surround sound and everything works just great coming from the front (soundbar) and the subwoofer off to the side. However. The rear speakers didn’t make a noise. I put my ear up the left one and could hear a faint click every few second. I called tech support and stayed on for 30 minutes before just about giving up. Nothing was working. The technician s asked for me to check the firmware status. I did and the speaker was out of date according to her and that that was the reason why my rear speakers were not working. She told me I would have to get on a computer and download a file from their website to put onto a thumb drive and plug into the speaker for it to then update. (Gosh glad I didn’t purchase this for someone as a gift - surprise!) Really wasn’t expecting them to sell something so out of date on the self… I tried it anyways being hopeful and nothing. I’m pretty sure I got a bad one. What a terrible first experience with a Vizio product. Makes me want to buy something different…

Disappointed

We bought this as an upgrade to our Vizio soundbar we purchased back in 2014. I can't honestly say the new soundbar was much better in terms of sound quality. Additionally, we have issues with the sound constantly cutting out for a second while we are watching TV. I should have stayed with the old soundbar.
