After seeing the bad reviews for the Samsung sound bar that is currently on sale, we landed on this one. And let me just say, I do not know how we watched TV before now. The difference is incredible. We love it and I highly recommend rocking out to Metallica videos on YouTube :)

I purchased this V series 5.1 in February. After thoroughly putting this system through many hours of viewing time I'm very pleased with the value Vizio delivered. It's very easy to adjust the volume of the subwoofer and the satellite speakers and the remote is simple and intuitive to use. I am so pleased that I purchased a second one for a friend. The satellite speakers are mounted on echogear stands that fit nicely with the system and helps deliver true 5.1 surround. Purchase with confidence.

I don’t normally review products but I felt my review of this system is needed. Being an audio engineer mixing for movies and television I’m blown away by what this little system can do. My LG tv is not capable of Dolby atmos so I wanted something better than the tv speakers. This unit fit the bill. I was very hesitant being from the old school with a full 5.1 system. This thing does an amazing job on everything I have thrown at it. The different audio settings make it easy to constantly truct what you want and or need. Yes it takes a little to wrap your head around the different settings. Bass is more than adequate and sometimes if I crank the sub up it’s just too much. But if you like that. It can do it. I can’t believe the sound this thing produces for roughly 200 bucks.

I purchased five different sound bar systems that were the same price as this one in order to listen to the sound quality of each system and then keep the best one.This Vizio V51-H6 ended up being my keeper as it BLOWS the competition away. Upon opening the packaging,I was impressed by the thought put into how organized all of the parts and components were packaged, unlike the four other sound bars who just had a plastic bag stuffed with wires, remote, etc. Installation of this sound bar was the easiest as well. I’m using the HDMI arc connection and everything connected instantly and effortlessly. This sound bar has the best sound quality and BASS at ‘all listening levels’, which was the main issue I discovered with the other sound bars I tested. This system also includes two additional wired satellite speakers, which sound great also. This system has the most options for customizing any of the various sound levels & effects all seem from the incorporated screen on the remote control itself. And there are controls on top of the sound bar itself. Unlike the other sound bars I tested that incorporated their settings screen into the sound bar itself, which was hard to see through the speaker grill of the bar and located at the tv across the room. I’m very impressed with everything about this Vizio sound bar and thank the Vizio engineers for actually putting so much thought into every aspect of this sound bar. Don’t waste your time buying any other sound bar system at this price point.

I just bought this to replace a vizio that I had for 6 years. The bar and sub sound great and like the features on the new remote. But I disconnected the 2 little speakers because they cut in and out. Haven't decided if I am keeping it yet due to the small speakers.

We've had this sound bar for 5 months now. There are a few times where it does a weird pop noise or distortion but rarely. Last week it just quit connecting and working all together. I'm sure we can get this resolved but it's not that old to have issues already.
