Am almost deaf, thought this might help with hearing the programs instead of reading closed captioning, and wow this thing is great, it is more than expected and wife loves it for the full surround sound with her movies

I've owned several now for each room,and only once have I complained,when I did Vizio made it right,no questions!!pairings of the Tv and Vizio sound bar has made me a Vizio lifer.Clarity of a high end on a Blue collar budget.

I bought this late 2021, and am very happy with it! works awesome, sounds great, one of the few items that does not disappoint. used with TV for surround sound, also for music. lots of bass for a small woofer.

In the store, the floor model is "in your face" when you set up at home the speakers are now spaced further away from each other, as well as you. Sound significantly degrades.

It has been a nightmare seems at day 91 it knows I can not return it blasts the volume on its own just takes off and you can not control period and now I am stuck

For our smallish living room, was looking for something to elevate the TV sound experience without breaking the bank. Was very surprised at how good these speakers are for the money. Clear dialogue from the sounderbar and surround speakers and bass unit add that extra dimension that puts you 'mise en scène' - in the scene and atmosphere. Would recommend!

I’ve had this about two weeks now and am very well pleased. It was very easy to connect to my Samsung HDTV. One thing I suggest that you do up front is to update the software because it fixes known bugs. You can go to the VIZIO website to get that update. It would have been helpful it that had been mentioned in the manual but it wasn’t.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Some research and searching pointed me towards the Vizio V51-H6 system to replace my old, wired system. The components had nice styling, and I thought it would look good in my house. Connection of the soundbar portion was solid. Even the process for updating the software in the soundbar went reasonably easy. The subwoofer connection turned out to be a horror story. I found several articles were other people had the same issue, and a lot of them ended up with unable to fix and replacing. I tried every combination recommended on the Vizio Support site, and those mentioned in Internet forums. Nothing worked. Subwoofer never showed a Bluetooth address to connect to the soundbar (used a Bluetooth sniffer to validate this). Really was looking forward to the surround sound, but it never worked. On the plus side, the soundbar did provide a fuller sound than the TV speakers. However, I paid for a 5.1 system, not a 3.0 system.

I tried out the 36" bar first, but I decided I wanted a little more bottom end. So I took that one back and came home with this one. It was an excellent choice. I've only had this system for less than a week, but I am very impressed. First thing I did was a firmware update, after reading some negative reviews about the sound dropping out on the rear speakers. I have NOT experienced that with mine. The rear speakers are small, but they kick. I really like bottom end, and this system definitely delivers. I'm a musician, so good sound is important to me. I couldn't be happier. This system will rattle your windows, and maybe your neighbor's. I put this in the basement with my new 50" Vizio smart TV. It was a breeze to hookup. I had a Panasonic surround that I was planning to hookup to the TV, but it bit the bullet. One of the issues I had with the Panasonic was that the music was too loud when there was speaking. That is not the case with this unit. I have no problem understanding at all, and I don't have to turn it down! All I am waiting for now is a pair of speaker stands and I am set. When this goes on sale I am definitely gonna pickup another one for our living room!

My wife wanted to get rid of 7 speakers in her Livingroom. When I suggested a soundbar, she was all for it. (Hint, guys). A friend suggested VISIO, and since we love our VISIO TV, we bought a V51-H6 Immediately. This soundbar is worth every penny we spent and more. Great sound, very easy to install and much less furniture.
