I picked up this PS5 controller to use with my PC. Steam has been on the ball adding support and it works great. The controller looks and feels great. Now my XBOX One controller is shelved as a backup for times when support for the PS5 controller is lacking.

very cute. My daughter is all into everything pink and when we opened it i didnt realize how the buttons would actually look. The clear pink parts on the buttons just make it exactly what she wanted very girly. If your kid or yourself like pink definatly buy. very happy with the controller

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a particularly poorly designed product (not Walmart's fault), and availability is difficult. Walmart had the best price, if ordered online, and outperforms Amazon in terms of being in stock.

These controllers really have gotten pricier from generation to generation and a lot more sophisticated, maybe unnecessarily so. Having to update the controller with the console this gen seems like asking a bit much. But when a console is designed for artistic aesthetics more than practical function, what can you expect. I'm not really sure the controllers are any better made, but with each generation Sony's controllers have a little more heft to them. I know kids seem to love the new tactile triggers. But I just regard the feature as a battery waster and turn it off, like the vibration function. It doesn't seem to add anything of value in either realism or gaming enhancement, unless the game unnecessarily limits vibration as the only clue prompt or something, rather than an audible cue. If only Sony would focus less on gimmicks and more on quality, their controllers might not need replacing as often. Or they need to make a more bare-boned version without all the unnecessary fluff that's all too often inconsistently used by developers anyway, if used at all. That said PS5 controller sticks seem to hold up a little longer than the PS4 did. Or maybe my nephews just aren't as hard on them as they used to be. Our white controller that came with the console started sticking or free-walking a little after 6 months. I found a few tricks to fixing it online, but wanted another backup just in case it gets worse. And Black Friday is the only time to buy a PS5 controller, if you can wait. The top of this blue controller has an almost pearlescent blue finish, which looks much nicer than previous generations or the black and white versions for the PS5. Of course, in a dark room, it doesn't really matter how nice it looks.

DualShock4 controllers only work for co-op on PS4 games. Plus they do not have Haptic Touch, like the DualSence PS5 controller does. If you have ever used an iPhone you know what that is. Plus PS5 games include adaptive triggers for shooting guns vs throwing a grenade or swinging an axe. When you get it, it will tell you to connect it via a USB cable to update it which will take around thirty seconds.

Okay product. Battery life is short however. Haven't had the product long enough to know the duration of the battery or the lifespan of it. However, it is something that needs to be charged every day, where is with the Xbox controller That's not the case.

So the controller arrived today and it had packing tape over the box security sticker and the inner cardboard holding the controller was torn. Seems pretty clear this was a returned item. Can't test it yet as I'm still waiting for the console but it looks to be in ok condition. Shady to charge full price on Walmarts end and then ship this though.

Got this as a back up/secondary controller when they were on sale for Black Friday. Could not beat the price. It is now May and my Walmart app had a notification pop up to review it. This controller is still working like if it was brand new. I will probably pick another one up again this year in November if they go on sale again.

The shipping was fast, and the price wasn't too terrible. But when it arrived I used it all of 8 hours and the left stick started to act up. I can do little band aid fixes to keep it from continuously drifting but over all just disappointed that I got the defective one of the bunch.

Purchased two authentic and brand new PS5 controllers at a great Black Friday price! Fast shipping by Walmart, but poor delivery by FedEx (Walmart should allow shoppers to choose who delivers because FedEx is terrible.) Very happy with my purchase.
