I recently added the 7 Qt Cast Iron Dutch Oven in matte sand to my kitchen, and it’s already proving to be a valuable tool. The color is absolutely stunning—matte sand is a perfect neutral that leans towards warm tones, making it a versatile addition to any kitchen décor. Functionality-wise, this Dutch oven has impressed me from the start. I used it to bake sourdough and make a hearty soup, and it performed beautifully in both cases. The heat distribution is excellent, and it handles long cooking times like a champ. However, it's worth noting that this is a heavy piece of cookware. While the weight gives it a solid, substantial feel—ideal for heat retention and even cooking—it can be a bit challenging to move around, especially when it’s full. I've only used it once so far, so I'm curious to see how it holds up over time. I have a 5.5 Qt Enameled Cast Iron Round Dutch Oven in white that unfortunately chipped, but this 7 Qt version is supposed to be more durable. The manufacturer highlights a different finishing process with three layers of porcelain-enamel exterior coating, designed to be chip-resistant and prevent rust. I’m hopeful that this new coating will live up to its promises and outlast the 5.5 quart. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase, but the true test will be in its long-term durability.

I bought this pot on a one day only special and so glad I did! The color teal is beautiful, heats up super quick, water comes to a boil in no time, even heat distribution. This pan is a weighty piece because of it being cast iron. I have a glass cooktop and it works perfectly. Definitely would recommend this piece. Buy it you will love it!

Originally purchased this item in the store and absolutely loved it. Great product at a great price. Saw it on line and purchased it as a gift for my daughter-in-law. She raved about it when she saw the one my wife had. We rotate "family nights" and this product is great for preparing meals for large groups. It is also very good looking besides practical.

Gave as gifts last year, filled with foodie goodies. Bought extras for me! Gave more for Christmas this year. Purchased my first one 2 years ago. The original one has darkened inside at the bottom, but the exterior still looks like new! I have used it a LOT! It is my favorite pot. I lost a small bit of the ceramic glaze at the bottom of the pot one day when I added cold broth to a hot pot, but, other than that and the discolored bottom, it's looks and cooks like new. My extras are still in the box. LOVE this pot!

I just bought my dutch oven and have only cooked one meal in it. But so far, I love my dutch oven. It cooked evenly and quickly. And because the lid is heavy it helped seal in flavor. Not only did I order one for myself but I also got one for my daughter-in-law as a gift.

Sent this to my son, who is a great cook, as he had been wanting one for a long time. I use mine often it is the best way to cook a roast for instance, results are always perfect. I have wanted a cast iron pot for a long time, but they were just to expensive for the size I wanted. The price of this pot and the quality is tremendous. I have used it weekly since I got it and leave it on the stove all the time because it is just so beautiful. Mine is the blue and is the most vibrant cobalt blue.

This is so amazing that I ended up buying a second one for myself. It came in handy during holiday cooking. I love it!! My favorite pot to cook with for sure! I used it on the stove top as a regular pot to make soups, stews, and even deep frying. All came out perfectly!!!

About 3 years ago, our Sam's Club had them on display and I grabbed 2 of them for Christmas gifts for my daughter & daughter in-law. The quality is top notch. The pan and lid are very heavy duty, I have only used it twice so far, but works great, and cleans up easy. I love the color (turquoise blue). This was the best price I have seen on this product. I expect to have many years of use with it.
