Works as well as the Roomba Model 870 that it replaced. But unlike the Roomba, it also has a phone app that maps the area being vacuumed. Once it's mapped, you can label the rooms, edit and restrict the areas you don't want vacuumed, setup a schedule to vacuum any or all ot the rooms and receive notifications for maintenance request. Also, unlike the Roomba we had that had to be emptied after every use, this vacuum includes a self emptying dock that automatically empties the Shark into a large, easy to empty, 60 day capacity, bagless dust bin! The fact that it's bagless was one of our deciding factors. There's no need to be continuously purchasing and replacing bags that would probably not only be expensive, but hard to find, even harder as the unit ages. The vacuum dock that empties the Shark into the 60 day bin is also relatively quiet and only comes on for a few seconds. Once the Shark has been emptied, if it has finished, it takes off again until it's completed the mapped area. It also has no issues running in the dark or going from wood floors to carpet and back, regardless of what the manual or other reviewers might say. We have it scheduled to run every morning at 4am, have wood and carpet floors and have had no issues. I can't say enough great things about this vacuum and would highly recommend it!

Love It! I had an older version which I loved and it worked for years. I then purchased the newest Matrix version to replace it, however, everything I love about Shark vaccuum such as cleaning under beds, cleaning under couches and it's great edge cleaning was thrown out the window due to the large useless knob in the middle and only having one side sweep. So I returned it and found this model which is very similar to what I had but with more suction power. And I'm in Loving it Again!

I didn't think this little thing would work as well as I had hoped but it has out performed by far. I'm so happy to have it now! I have a cat and a dog and it does an excellent job with any hair. I haven't downloaded the app yet to map my house. I'm not sure I will because I prefer to be here while running it so don't see the need to communicate through my phone.

So far so good; we are two weeks in. Tons of pet hair is handled without trouble. Years ago we had the other brand robotic vacuum and it could not do that. The only trouble spot is our rugs have a fringe and this gets tangled if not tucked under. I love how it learns the rooms and you can send it to a specific place in the house to clean.

I absolutely love this robot! It works great, osnt super loud, and rmpties itself. The battery lasts for cleanings and I can't imagine not having it!

Product is fairly well built and works well. I have 2 of these units for different levels of my house and both quickly developed a horrible squealing from the front wheel. A few drops of machine oil resolved the issue, but it still seems to be a consistent issue. While the control app (android) is functional it could use some additional development.

Great, love it. Has so much power packed into a small machine. I am still figuring the Shark IQ Robot Vacuum out. The cons on it are 2nd day using it developed a squeak. It is not quiet but not as loud as a regular vacuum. You would not want to run it while trying to sleep. It seems to get lost at times and misses areas then it goes over same areas again. Over all I still love it and it does a great job.

The vacuum does a good job of cleaning the floor. The beater bar is very easy to clean. The vacuum seems to have a lot of errors that have to be dealt with each run. If anything is on the floor that is slightly big, it gets stuck in the bar and you have to fix it. The vacuum often gets stuck between chair legs, even though there’s room for it to get in. But the self emptying works great and is its best feature

upon arrival the box had been damaged, and no means were provided by Sams to indicate if the box had been opened? I do not know if everything that was supposed to be in the box is in there? Or if it is damaged? This was purchased as a gift, but now I would not feel comfortable gving it as a gift.

The unit is not working properly. First hooked to Wi-Fi and set up schedule. The unit never came on. Hit the clean button on the unit. It made one swipe around the kitchen table, then it went back and docked. I think it’s just a bad unit. We had another one that worked great. This one will be going back next week.
