This planter was easy to lift and carry as well as to put together (and I am a small woman!). The biggest challenge was emptying bags of dirt in it. The planter sits perfectly on my patio and so far is doing great with peppers, cucumbers, green beans, cherry tomatoes, and some snap peas. It is attractive and I like the way I control the water. The height is great on my back.

We purchased one of these about two years ago. I also purchased two whiskey barrel halves from a local store. The barrels were about $80 each. The steel band pulled away from the barrel. And now the wood is barely holding. Also, don't waste your time with those cedar planters. This Keter Planter is outside year-round. It withstands the changing seasons. So, we purchased a second one for more vegetable planting this year. Great item!

I was hesitant to spend so much on a “flower pot”, but when I put it together and planted grean bean and radish seeds I truly saw the long term investment in my purchase. This is a stand up garden bed that will probably be here longer than I am. I intend to grow vegetables all year long!

Love this planter for herbs and small vegetables. A little too narrow for the cucumbers we planted, needed to relocate them. The tomato plant loves it, though! We placed the planter right below our bedroom window so we could watch the progress from inside. It would also be beautiful to use as a window box. The water gauge is nice, too!

This raised garden planter is stellar. It is sturdy and nice looking. Assembly was so easy. All you need is one Philips head screw driver to remove and reset 4 screws. I assembled both of my planters single handedly without any assistance and I'm a 74 year old women. The instructions were were very clear and easy-to-use. I needed 75 quarts of dry potting soil to fill the planter to set it up and plant. The leaf floating watering meter is genius for seeing when watering is needed or when draining is required due to rain or overwatering. Very well made. All pieces were included and fit perfectly with no modifications needed. I give this two thumbs-up. Yes! Go ahead and buy this with the highest-rated recommendations.

I was very happy to see how Heavy duty this Keter planter was. I usually have my husband put things together, but this was easy to put together and I did it myself. My husband commented how nice and sturdy the planter was. I agreed and ordered a second one ;).

Im disappointed because I purchased a Keter product in the past and has no issues. This time I had missing parts. Since the product waa no longer sold in stores and because its so big I reached out to Keters customer service, I was on hold for over 15 minutes. I went to website, and emailed thinking with a case number they will follow up - nope crickets. So I send another email two weeks later nothing. In stuck. No more Keter products doe me!

Very well made and easy to assemble. Only took a couple of minutes. Love having the shelf underneath! Would def recommend!!

It's very nice. Has an indicator of the water level which is very helpful in this heat. Have peppers and lettuce so the animals can't get them
