Awesome raised garden

We love these.

I was really excited to get this on the patio. It seems sturdy and well made. Instructions for assembly were easy to follow. Only problem is one of the screws that must be removed to put the legs in socket was cranked down so hard it was virtually welded to the plastic. Now I'll be loading it into the car to see if a replacement is in stock. Not funny

I like the garden fine, but when a flimsy strap broke I inquired about a replacement from KETER.com. 45.00! Yeah, they came in a set.. and they couldn't be separated... 5 for 45.00. Still outrageously high for plastic and shame on the manufacturer for not "separating" a set to sell to their customers.

I bought one from Sam's. Easy to put together but was missing the seed trays. The flower water gauge does not work, it stays down no matter how much water. I will call Keter Customer Service for assistance. My vegetables are growing great in it. If Customer Service can help fix the water gauge problem I will order another one for my herbs. I like that it is "self watering" so when the Covid-19 stay at home orders are discontinued and my plants are not getting around the clock attention anymore, they won't die of thirst.

I currently have 2 of these set up. They appear to be well made and sturdy. The self watering feature is OK, but could be better! It's nice that there is a water level gauge, but it's problematic in its execution. Firstly, the gauge is in the center of the fill tube. Although a nice idea, it dramatically slows down how fast the tube can accept water. A typical fill can take a good 5 minutes. Even at a slow trickle from the garden hose, water wants to overflow the top of the pipe as you are filling, so it's a start/start operation. Repeat this every few seconds. You also need to start/stop continually to check water level too. The tube must be empty to check. Once the tube is empty, you need to tap the float rapidly to release what seems like trapped air, so you can get an accurate reading. Too much water and you'll drown the roots of your plants. Also, the location of this fill tube is not in a great location! If you have any tall, bushy, or twiggy plants within roughly a foot of the fill tube they will block access to the tube. Even with a long automotive funnel or watering can it's difficult to access the full tube in my planter with beefsteak and cherry tomatoes a foot away. It would be nicer to have the fill tube right against one of the corners, like EarthBox (the original) does! A much better idea for the gauge would be to have an overflow hole in the side of the planter so that you fill until water trickles out of the hole once full. No gauge float, no restrictions in the fill tube, and things would be much easier. Put a cap on the tube to keep mosquitos from trying to breed in the reservoir. Next growing season these are getting some much needed modifications to make them much more user friendly! I rate them 4 stars. If they redesigned the style and location of the fill tube I'd easily give them 5 stars!!!

I purchased one of these planters last spring to add to my regular garden so I can grow lettuces and herbs without the rabbits getting to them. It is a wonderful addition to the garden, it’s sturdy, and for a tall person it’s the perfect height. It’s so nice to be able to plant seeds and smaller plants here where I don’t have to bend over to harvest them. I’m trying to figure out where I can put another one this year!

My whole deck is practically Keter. 3-Urban Bloomers XL, Unity Table XL, Keter Storage Bench, Keter Hanging Baskets. I bought one of these in June 2018. I loved it so much that I purchased a SECOND one a month later in July 2018, and a THIRD in July 2019! Growing and watering isn't the issue. I filled them with raised bed soil, without overfilling it. Never abusing them and treating them with care. I drain it when it rains and there's excess water. This year the the first two bloomers are bowing on the bottom down the center and it's cracked a little so water is leaking out. These would be amazing if this weren't the case. I wasn't able to see if Sam's will replace them since I still have receipts, but they closed early today. I assume they will because I believe they came with a 2 year limited warranty, but I have yet to find out. Same product number, but a slightly different look this year so perhaps they redesigned a few aspects and took care of these issues? It's not worth it to me unless they're replaced since I only got 2 seasons of use before /cracking seams and a leaking the water reservoir. Vegetables and flowers are doing well so far this year. The THIRD one is still okay and I'm happy with it, but doubt I'll get more than 2 seasons out of it before it goes the same way. It'd be 4-5 stars if it held up a few more years. Right now it's 2-3 stars because 2 seasons use doesn't justify the price, plus the plastic resin waste to the environment if it does get replaced. Disappointing... I want to LOVE these and always get compliments on them. Nor do I want to spend money on new raised beds :/
