What we received is a shock considering all the GREAT reviews on this mattress. It is extremely soft and squishy. I would say it is quite close to a water bed in it's lack of structure. When you lay on it, you feel as if you are in a hammock. There is NO SITTING on it, without bottoming out and I don't mean just along the edges. If you sit with pillows propped up, as in watching TV or reading, your backside bottoms out and you are sitting in a hole. I am wondering if it is defective. I did see someone else who called it a hammock, and thought perhaps they were just hyper-critical. But NOW I will say I believe them! And, perhaps we just got one that came out of a bad batch in production. It's really hard for us because we are not physically able to return it to Sam's Club. I suffer from a back injury. Now, I have to sleep in a back brace, because without it, I can't sleep in this bed at all! I really think that if I was 20 and in perfect health I would feel the same about this mattress. My advice is to move on and don't buy it.

My husband and I now suffer with lower back pain due to separate accidents. Increased inflammation (arthritis) has caused many restless nights. The search for a new mattress became a primary need. This bed is just like a 4k bed, if not better. Me and my mate are a big weight variation. Yet this bed we both love and are very happy to sleep in. I have two of these beds, I even got the full for my guest room. As far as the smell it went away in 10 days, I am very smell sensitive. We love love the bed, its odd that they do not sell in store.

This is the best purchase I've ever made. I've always had shoulder pain in the morning, but not any more. I didn't notice a strong order from the mattress as others have stated. The mattress has a firm feel, yet it conforms nicely to the body. I've had it for 2 weeks and wouldn't trade it for anything I've ever slept on.

My Husband and I really like our new bed. It is comfortable and well worth the money. No more tossing and turning or sleepless nights. I would definitely recommend this bed. A little firm but not too much. We bought a King size for ourselves and liked it so much that we bought a full size for our guest room.

We bought this to replace a 20 year old mattress. My wife and I were both having problems with our backs. So we decided to replace the mattress with a foam mattress from Night Therapy. This would be the 4th mattress we purchased from Sam's Club as three of our kids have the full size mattresses. We had slept on the kids mattresses and thought they felt just right. However when this mattress came it was just too soft. Both of us feel like were sleeping on a "gag" mattress with our feet and heads in the air and our behinds sinking deeply into the mattress. We hope that feeling goes away but only time will tell. We would recommend the other mattress we have purchased but not this one.

My husband was skeptical when I told him I wanted to order a mattress online based solely on the positive reviews, but this mattress proved him wrong! The mattress expanded to it's full size within a full day, and it's so comfortable - I can't even feel him move in bed. We put this mattress right on a platform bed, no box spring, and the height is perfect. Definitely recommend this product.

I purchased this mattress last year and wanted to give some time before I wrote a review on the bed. First to start off the bed itself doesn't look like the picture....in the summer time the bed gets way to hot, even with a very nice sheet set the bed still makes you so uncomfortable to even sleep. Lastly the bed sinks way to much on the edges basically forcing you to fall off the bed, I constantly have to rotate the bed around to be able to sleep on it. I would rather give this mattress back and buy something else!

I ordered this item on-line. It was shipped FedEx Ground and arrived two days earlier than expected. The mattress comes in a box and does not require a box spring since it is memory foam. We just got the new king size platform bed the same day the mattress came. We waited the 48 hours for the mattress to air out before we attempted to sleep on it as reccomended. You actually sink into the mattress.The firmness of this memory foam mattress is suppose to be a medium but is actually very soft and plush. If you want a soft plush cool feel this would be a good choice but if you prefer a med/firm to firm it is too soft. The cool gel is a good description since it is exactly that. We have had it almost a month now and are in process of returning it for a firmer brand. I filled out the on-line return request a week ago and have not yet gotten a response so hopefully will get some information soon regarding the return so I can order a firmer model.My husband has been sleeping on the floor on the old mattress since then.

I have bought two of these mattresses. I was very skeptical about buying a mattress unseen, but these are the best mattresses that I have ever slept on. The first was a Queen size mattress that we used in the MB for 2 years. It is now in a guest room. When we decided to get "grownup" furniture (King bed) there was no discussion about which mattress to buy. We ordered this mattress when we ordered our furniture (Gavin) from Sam's. Fast delivery. We love it!
