Love this mattress! Have previously owned a My Comfort and a Sleep Number P5 mattress. Decided we loved the memory foam support and comfort and the cool layer technology on this one makes it the perfect mattress. You really do stay cool. It did put off a little bit of an odor when we first unrolled it but the smell went away within a couple of days. We just plopped it on top of our Sleep Number adjustable base. This mattress is heavy so there is no need to secure it to the base...it stays perfectly in place no matter what position we have the base in. I would say this mattress is more on the firm side...more so than our My Comfort but it still conforms to your every curve and you feel weightless. My husband and I are both about 200 lbs each and we sleep great on this mattress. What a great value too!

Its being 2 or 3 weeks since we got this. I can not believe the differences. The price is perfect, it was delivered to my 6th story condo, with no issues. Too good to be true. My only problem, I DONT WANT TO GET UP!. I am planning to darken the room, Im sure I will be able to sleep for a couple of days straight to catch up to all of those days I spend tossing and turning. The product arrived quickly, expanded to full size in seconds and had no smell. It was very comfortable from the first night but not soft enough for the extreme fibro that cripples my wife until we added the 4 inch topper that we also bought from Sams a couple years ago. She now gets the only good sleep that she has had in 7 years.

Bought the bed based on the reviews here. I had read so many reviews on high-priced big brand name mattresses, both good and bad, that I did not want to risk a lot of money on a foam mattress that I wouldn't be able to return. Some stores require you to exchange their mattress (probably only option is a more expensive one) and some stores here in Denver had no return or exchange policy. With Sam's return policy, I felt there was no risk. Good decision. I got a high quality mattress and an excellent price and I could have returned it if I didn't like it. Fortunately I really like it. It is firm but the top feels cushy when you lay on it. I was really suprised that it feels so firm but I fall asleep faster and no longer do I toss and turn all night. I find sometimes when I wake up that I am in the same position I went to sleep in. Mattress has a nice covering and I am pleased with the quality. Got the box springs at Sam's too, so convenient that they're in stock and you can get it when you want. Bed was delivered to my house, I'm an older lady and got it in the door myself and had a friend help me get it upstairs. Good buy! Saved me a lot of money over beds I was looking at in the stores!

I also bought this mattress sight unseen. I read the reviews and was still leary of what I might get. I had been looking for a mattress for the past 18 yrs. that would compare to the waterbed I used to have. I had done away with the waterbed, because I was moving a lot and filling it and unfilling it was becoming a hassle. That's when I switched to a regular inner spring mattress. Every mattress that I have purchased, 4 in the past 18 yrs. would develope sags and lumps. I felt as if I was always sleeping down in a hole. My husband and I are not over weight, so it wasn't because of that. The first set cost over $2000, and many others that were name brands and highly priced would have to be trashed after a few years wear. I also have had back pain since I was a teen. Just recently I hurt my back and I have 3 slipped discs. I am taking P.T. and have sciatic pain down my leg. I have to wake up an hour early just to start walking. This mattress is the best purchase ever. I love the material it's made from. Not too soft or too firm. I feel like Goldilocks. My pain is getting much better and I'm sleeping and am much more rested. The only thing I wish was different is that it was a lot thicker. For the style headboard I have I could have used a mattress that was 15" or more to help with the looks of my bed. Other than that I can't complain. If you're tired of shopping around to find one that meets many needs, health issues, different support between you and your spouse, or something great for the value....you have to try this one.

I'm 6'4", 320 and built like a gorilla. For years we've slept on an inner-spring mattress with a 4" mattress topper. The springs would fight against my hips. So I'd wake up stiff and achy. No good. So, out of sheer necessity I started looking for an answer and feel like I found one with this thing. We ordered the king and it arrived one day ahead of scheduled delivery. The box is large and 123 lbs. Get a hand-truck and a tub of butter to help you shoe-horn this box through the door. Then, do what I did...while still in the plastic bag, place it on your bed first. Because once you open the plastic bag it immediately starts to expand and quickly becomes what you just paid for. We let it expand a full 4 hours before laying on it. It is a smooth, complete 13" inches just as advertised. The mild / moderate chemical smell went away after a day or so. Not a big deal for me. After a day or so of expansion it is a true, thick king-sized mattress. We slept on this thing the first night. Over the next day or so it continued to suck in air. You'll sink in a couple of inches and the memory foam will support you just fine. I'm a side sleeper and have had no trouble with that. Back sleepers will be okay since the foam will fill in the small of your back providing support. The memory foam gives plenty of good support without fighting back like springs can. It stays cool. I was concerned that the material would heat up and make me hot but it doesn't. The mattress stays cool and really does not absorb body heat. I say this mattress is as advertised. If I had something to gripe about I would, but I don't. Good deal for the money. Have recommended this to a friend already.

This mattress sleeps much better that the Serta memory foam we returned a week or so ago. That Serta memory foam was rock hard to sleep on. This is just soft enough but firm enough to enjoy it anytime even for a quick nap. This what I bought a memory foam mattress for. I think the gel infused makes the difference in the comfort level. I especially like that my wife can get up and the bed does not move at all and vice versa.

Have problem with back and neck bought expensive pillow top and could not sleep on it - gave it to family member. Used inexpensive mattress given to us until we purchased this mattress. We both love it - husband could not sleep for more than 5 hours now he has no problem sleeping longer and wakes up with no back pain - same with me. Great mattress.

I had high hopes for this mattress, based on reviews on the site and from family. I gave it 3 stars for ease of ordering, the quick delivery, and customer service from the people I have talked to since ordering. The first night I woke up feeling like I was on a bed of coals. I thought maybe it was me, so kept the house cold and the second night it was the same way. Every night I sleep on this bed it feels like the burning bed. So frustrating, because it is very comfortable. I have a thick mattress pad on top and it has only slightly alleviated the problem. I just can't take the heat anymore. I know it's not night sweats, because I don't wake up in a sweat, just extremely hot, like I'm laying on a heating pad set too high.

I initially wavered a bit about purchasing this mattress and all the while my husband and I were dealing with our 16 yo Queen pillow top mattress. Waking up with body aches, stiffness isn't a pretty thing when both of us are still not as old as we felt upon rolling out of bed until we could sit up. Not because of the mattress but rather how the mattress made us feel every morning. He told me just to order it and we'll see where it takes us. The MyGel Prestige has been a wonderful mattress. Both of us sleep more soundly; thrash less, don't feel each other turning over; and wake up feeling like we got a good night's sleep. No more rolling out of bed. The minute my feet hit the floor, I'm not struggling to wake up my lower back so I can walk. My husband and I haven't had any problems in the month that we've owned it, and we are surprised by the fact that we love it without having first tried or tested it. It really is a perfect fit. Regarding the packaging odor: Not too strong after unpacking. We kept a fan in the room to circulate the air. The first night was not bad. Got better over the course of 2 to 3 days until we didn't even notice that we couldn't smell it anymore. At the end of the day, if you are extremely sensitive to odors, then you might consider letting it air long enough to allow odor to dissipate before you sleep on it. It will be worth the wait instead of saying you don't like it because of the smell. The smell is gone baby and I'm digging my new bed! I would recommend the bed (I have already), and I would buy another of this type/brand without hesitation. If you are thinking about it, don't. Just DO IT. Worse case scenario... you return it. Best case scenario... you'll feel like you've gone to heaven for the night. ;)
